We hope you're attending PAX East on Saturday, April 7, because that's when we plan on doing The Joystiq Show Live. As noted in the official PAX East schedule, we will be in the Manticore Theatre on Saturday from 3-4 PM.We aren't exactly sure what we're going to do yet, but we certainly plan on having a session of "Ask JC," where you can ask our managing editor to name a game you've been trying to recall for years with only the most obscure details. Panelists also include the former X3F crew and EiC Ludwig Kietzmann hosting a "With a Q?" segment.Or, we may scrap that whole idea and come up with something new. Either way, we'll be there. Please join us.

First up in news ... it's reviews. Weird, right? Richard, Alexander and Ben start the show off with a bit on Richard's Asura's Wrath review, and why length should not necessarily factor into the judgement of a game's quality. Nintendo Direct talk starts the real news section, and the guys are sure not to miss word on the next Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect 3 reversible cover art, and the horrifying premise of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. Also, game review theory, and lots of it.The second segment is all about Alan Wake's American Nightmare in an interview with Remedy Entertainment's Oskari Hakkinen. The discussion covers the gamut from the inception of the XBLA release to what the future holds for the troubled scribe.Part 1 (1:01) - The newsPart 2 (33:55) - Alan Wake's American Nightmare interviewGet the podcast:[iTunes] Subscribe to the Joystiq Podcast in iTunes[Zune] Subscribe to the Joystiq Podcast directly in the Zune Marketplace[RSS] Add the Joystiq Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator[MP3] Download the MP3 directlyHost: Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM)Guest: Oskari Hakkinen - Head of Franchise Development, Remedy EntertainmentProducer: Jonathan Downin (@jonathandownin - Game Thing Daily)Production Coordinator: Richard MitchellMusic: Trash80 and Broke for FreeView the news topics and stream the show after the break.
