And by "work," we mean listening in to the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/10/apple-ceo-tim-cook-d10-speaker/">opening keynote</a> of <i>DX</i>. The 2012 conference is kicking off in earnest on May 29th, and it'll be Apple CEO Tim Cook taking the stage alongside hosts Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. By our calculations, this looks to be his first offsite interview outside of the financial realm, and we'll be liveblogging the whole of it from the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The action's scheduled to kick off around 6:15PM PT (that's 9:15PM for you folks on the right coast; 3:15PM in Tahiti), and you can follow along just past the break. As to what'll be discussed? Just guessing here, but in no particular order: Samsung, intellectual property, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/29/tim-cook-pays-a-visit-to-a-foxconn-factory-smiles-for-the-camer/">Foxconn</a>, iOS, earnings, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/24/tim-cook-hates-litigation-not-quite-ready-to-call-a-patent-truc/">lawsuits</a>, iPad, acquisitions and cold, hard cash.</p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/29/apple-ceo-tim-cook-interview-at-d10-the-liveblog/">Apple CEO Tim Cook interview at D10: the liveblog</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 21:04:00 EST. Will it be a new super phone? An epic new high-speed 4G network? The resurrection of webOS? Nope. The big get of the week is the 42nd president of the United States, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/billclinton">Mr. William Jefferson Clinton</a>. Honestly, we're not entirely sure what to expect of the event ending keynote. Most likely Willy (he let's us call him that since we're such close, personal friends -- it's no big deal) will wind up talking about the ability of wireless technology to empower the underclass and level the global playing field... you know, light-hearted stuff. But, there's only one way to find out for sure: follow along after the break.</p><p></p><div style="text-align:center"> <span class="event-datetime">May 10, 2012 3:00 PM EDT</span></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/10/live-from-president-bill-clintons-ctia-keynote/">Live from President Bill Clinton's CTIA keynote</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Thu, 10 May 2012 14:46:00 EST. President <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/billclinton">Bill Clinton</a> will be taking the stage tomorrow afternoon to talk about... something. Still, LG's late-2011 DoublePlay has a slide-out physical keyboard and that dinky second screen which reminds us of a phone that's years <a href="http://mobile.engadget.com/2009/05/05/t-mobile-sidekick-lx-2009-review/">out of date</a>. However, when <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/06/lg-doubleplay-review/">we reviewed it</a>, we found it to be very useful, even if it lacked a front-facing camera and weighed a <strike>metric ton</strike> okay, 190 grams. But how about you? Some of you bought this phone, some of you love it, so how has it been? Tell us in the space below.</p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/06/how-would-you-change-the-lg-doubleplay/">How would you change the LG DoublePlay?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sun, 06 May 2012 22:34:00 EST. Hard to say if it's a day that'll live long in terms of historical significance, but you can bet it'll be an important milestone in the history of Apple's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/iPad/">iPad</a> family. The next iPad (iPad 3? iPad HD? iPad 2S?) is due to be unveiled by Tim Cook at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California, and we'll be here <strong>live</strong> to bring you the goods as they're unwrapped. If you've managed to arrive in this time wrinkle <em>before</em> 03/07/2012, there's still a reliable fabric of reality intact. It's been months since we tested the <a href="http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=site%3Aengadget.com%20developer%20preview&amp;source=web&amp;cd=6&amp;ved=0CGcQFjAF&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.engadget.com%2F2011%2F09%2F16%2Fwindows-8-on-a-laptop-in-depth-preview-video%2F&amp;ei=zrZMT7XoJOKx0QXGwLGeBQ&amp;usg=AFQjCNH-51gBZ_NBG8g27DhXKEAVeusI9w&amp;cad=rja">Windows 8 Developer Preview</a>, and now Microsoft is finally ready to let the general PC-using public give it a whirl. While we already have a feel for the overarching interface, which mashes together the traditional desktop and Metro-inspired tiles, we haven't yet had a glimpse of the native apps that will ship as part of the OS. And think of the untold number of tweaks Redmond must have made since the Developer Preview dropped! Will we get to poke around the Windows Store? Will switching between apps be any less jarring this go 'round? And what's the fate of the Start button? Stay tuned to find out what the OS will look like in its (almost) final form.<br /><br /><center> <span id="event-datetime">February 29, 2012 9:30 AM EST</span></center><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/29/live-from-microsofts-windows-8-press-event-at-mobile-world-cong/">Live from Microsoft's Windows 8 press event at Mobile World Congress 2012!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 29 Feb 2012 09:00:00 EST. This will be the first time we've heard from Sony's phone division since Sony <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/15/sony-finalizes-divorce-with-ericsson-renames-itself-sony-mobile/">split</a> with Ericsson and rebranded the operation "Sony Mobile Communications." But what's in a name, right? It's the gadgets we're after, and gadgets we'll see. So, will we get the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/20/sony-xperia-u-kumquat-pics/">Xperia U</a>? A dash of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/07/sony-ericsson-pepper-mt27i-surfaces-has-some-design-spice/">Pepper</a>? Sony's about to set the record straight, so stay tuned for a blow-by-blow of all the details.<br /> <br /> <center> <span id="event-datetime">February 26, 2012 12:00 PM EST</span></center></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/26/live-from-sonys-mobile-world-congress-2012-press-event/">Live from Sony's Mobile World Congress 2012 press event!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sun, 26 Feb 2012 12:33:00 EST. So, what pray tell does NVIDIA have in store for us at this year's Consumer Electronic? We're not sure just yet, but it's a safe bet that it involves <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/08/acer-iconia-tab-a700-hands-on/">tablets</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/fujisu-arrows-tegra-3-prototype-eyes-on/">smartphones</a> and a certain quad-core ARM chip that goes by the name <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/tegra3">Tegra 3</a>. Stay tuned for all the juicy details.<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/live-from-nvidias-ces-2012-press-event/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Live from NVIDIA's CES 2012 press event</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/live-from-nvidias-ces-2012-press-event/">Live from NVIDIA's CES 2012 press event</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 09 Jan 2012 18:55:00 EST. The show floor for CES 2012 may not open until tomorrow, but news from the show is coming fast and furious from every direction, and we're here at Panasonic's press conference to bring all you wanted to know about the company's latest products. What will we see? No one can say for sure (we'll bet dollars to donuts there'll be a 3D TV or two), but folks are filing in and the show's about to start. So, keep it locked right here for every bit of Panasonic news as it's revealed.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/come-on-down-for-panasonics-ces-2012-liveblog/">Live from Panasonic's CES 2012 press event!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 09 Jan 2012 18:00:00 EST. What kind of magesty does Samsung have for us at this year's CES? Smaller tablets? Bigger phones? Tabletphones of an average size? <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/12/samsungs-crazy-ces-2011-keynote-the-highlight-reel/">Kids named Zoll</a> who come complete with their own dancing team? We're expecting the former, hoping for the latter, and ready to roll which ever way this turns out. The CES press conferences are in full swing now and we're waiting patiently for the Sharp one to start. We're here at the Palms for the opening keynote at AT&amp;T's annual Developer Summit. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/05/live-from-atandts-developer-summit/">Last year's event</a> brought us the Motorola Atrix 4G, HTC Inspire 4G and Samsung Infuse 4G, among plenty of other little nuggets. We're expecting to see another great showing, courtesy of AT&amp;T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega, CTO John Donovan and CMO David Christopher, so read along as we bring you the updates as it happens.<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/live-att-dev-summit-keynote/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Live from AT&amp;T's 2012 Developer Summit keynote!</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/09/live-att-dev-summit-keynote/">Live from AT&amp;T's 2012 Developer Summit keynote!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 09 Jan 2012 12:06:00 EST. It begins here. We rolled out of bed early here in Vegas to hop aboard the liveblog train (or monorail, as it were). We're kicking today's festivities off with LG. It's going to be loony. <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-these-go-to-eleven-event-0/">Google These Go to Eleven event</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-these-go-to-eleven-event-0/#4616358"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/11/googlemusic-01d3s0658_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-these-go-to-eleven-event-0/#4616359"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/11/googlemusic-01d3s0659_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-these-go-to-eleven-event-0/#4616360"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/11/googlemusic-01d3s0670_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-these-go-to-eleven-event-0/#4616361"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/11/googlemusic-01d3s0671_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/google-these-go-to-eleven-event-0/#4616362"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2011/11/googlemusic-01d3s0672_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />

It's just about that time, kids. And by "that time," we mean "time for Google to pull some kind of LA-themed rabbit out of an LA-based hat." The Mountain View monster has rolled down I-5 today in order to throw a "<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/11/google-announces-android-special-event-for-november-16th-in-lo/">These Go To Eleven</a>" event, presumably <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/14/t-mo-invites-us-to-experience-the-world-of-t-mobile-and-google-w/">in conjunction with T-Mobile</a>. What's on the docket? A <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/11/google-music-beta-walkthrough-what-it-is-and-how-it-works-vide/">Google Music</a> that actually <i>sells</i> stuff? A Galaxy Nexus for T-Mobile? A Google Music store that only runs on T-Mobile's Galaxy Nexus while positioned in the greater Los Angeles area? Feel free to let your imagination run (a little) wild in comments below, and check back <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/16/googles-android-these-go-to-eleven-liveblog-from-los-angeles/"><strong>right here</strong></a> at the time listed below (2PM local time, for the Californicators) for our blow-by-blow liveblog coverage.<br />

Lights, check! Camera? Well, it soon might be a Canon. We're live from the red carpet at Canon's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/09/15/canon-plans-hollywood-event-ready-to-roll-out-the-red-carpet-on/">Hollywood launch event</a>, where we're expecting the company to reveal its first cinema camera. We'll be watching the action live as it hits the silver screen in SoCal, but you can catch it all from home right here! Things get started at 3PM local time, translated into times for <em>your</em> locales below.<br />

The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/25/the-nokia-world-keynote-is-tomorrow-get-your-liveblog-here-at/">excitement begins</a> at 9AM local time (translated to your time zone below), so tune in just before for the play-by-play.<br />

You've probably already gathered from our <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/25/the-nokia-world-keynote-is-tomorrow-get-your-liveblog-here-at/">liveblog teaser</a> and early look at <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/25/exclusive-nokia-to-announce-qwerty-symbian-phone-tomorrow/">one of tomorrow's announcements</a>, but we're just settling in at Nokia World. And it really does feel like we're a world away from the conference's host city on London -- the venue Nokia selected to host its growing event is quite a distance from Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and that famous big clock tower downtown. Stay tuned for plenty of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/WindowsPhone/">Windows Phone</a> (and perhaps even <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Symbian/">Symbian</a>) coverage throughout the week, and don't forget our <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/26/the-nokia-world-2011-keynote-liveblog/">liveblog of today's keynote</a>!<br />
<br />
Pro tip: Use the "<a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/nokiaworld2011/">nokiaworld2011</a>" tag for direct access to this week's Nokia news!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/26/were-live-from-nokia-world-2011/">We're live from Nokia World 2011!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 26 Oct 2011 01:47:00 EST. What will the future hold for a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/02/the-oh-sh_t-moment-that-nokia-decided-to-abandon-meego/">post-MeeGo</a> Nokia? Sure, we have <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/19/microsofts-andy-lees-nokia-will-announce-its-windows-phones/">a fairly good idea</a>, but you have mere hours to wait until <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/19/nokia-800-press-shots-leak-espoos-windows-phone-mango-lovechil/">the rumors</a> are confirmed. We'll be coming to you live from the company's keynote at Nokia World in London, where we're expecting not one, but <em>multiple</em> Windows Phones to make an on-stage debut. The show kicks off at 9AM local time, and we've included a handy list of round-the-world start times below. We're back! <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/AsiaD/">AsiaD</a>'s concluding today, but we've got a couple of big hitters left on the schedule. Kicking things off this morning -- yeah, it's <em>morning</em>, we're in the future -- is Sony's Executive Deputy President, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/all/kazHirai">Kazuo Hirai</a>, and we're guessing he'll be shooting it straight regarding the PS Vita, those nasty "outages" and whatever else he feels like keeping us abreast on. Join us after the break for the blow-by-blow!<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/20/sonys-kazuo-hirai-liveblog-from-asiad/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Sony's Kazuo Hirai: liveblog from AsiaD!</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/20/sonys-kazuo-hirai-liveblog-from-asiad/">Sony's Kazuo Hirai: liveblog from AsiaD!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Thu, 20 Oct 2011 20:06:00 EST. Thought today's festivities were over from Hong Kong? Think again. While Samsung and Google tag-teamed the morning with the introduction of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/18/samsung-galaxy-nexus-hands-on/">Galaxy Nexus</a>, the first-ever AsiaD conference is kicking off as the sun sets over Victoria Harbour. The opening keynote is quite the impressive one, with Google's own Senior Vice President of Mobile, Andy Rubin, on the docket. Mr. Rubin's no stranger to these events -- in fact, we've <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/12/06/googles-andy-rubin-live-from-d-dive-into-mobile/">liveblogged</a> his interviews <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/08/live-from-all-things-d-at-ces-2010/">twice</a> from All Things D events -- and we're expecting quite the talk tonight following the official unveiling of Ice Cream Sandwich. Join us after the break for the liveblog!<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/19/liveblog-from-asiad-andy-rubin-svp-of-mobile-at-google/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Liveblog from AsiaD: Andy Rubin, SVP of Mobile at Google</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/19/liveblog-from-asiad-andy-rubin-svp-of-mobile-at-google/">Liveblog from AsiaD: Andy Rubin, SVP of Mobile at Google</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 19 Oct 2011 06:07:00 EST. The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/14/motorola-teaser-counts-down-to-ics-event-date-ends-a-few-hours/">countdown</a> is almost at an end. And that means it's time for some serious Daft Punk-referencing Motorola action. What can we expect today? The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/09/24/motorola-lte-handset-emerges-with-qhd-super-amoled-display-ques/">Spyder</a> / <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/17/motorola-droid-razr-gets-an-early-introduction-ahead-of-tomorrow/">Droid RAZR </a>handset? The sequel to <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/11/motorola-spyder-and-xoom-2-turn-up-in-more-leaked-shots/">the Xoom</a>? Perhaps an early taste of <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/13/samsung-confirms-ice-cream-sandwich-event-on-october-19/">Ice Cream Sandwich</a>? All of these answers and more will be revealed at 12PM ET.<br />
