We don't have a ton of details on these just yet, but MSI has rolled into Computex with something of a surprise: a new line of robot vacuums. As you can see, they look remarkably similar to iRobot's Roomba vacuums, and they apparently come in three different versions: the standard M800 Smart Vacuum Robot, the R500 Slim Vacuum Robot, and the R1300 Security Vacuum Robot, the latter of which adds a camera and internet connectivity for some low-level surveillance. No word on pricing or availability just yet either, but MSI has at least kindly put together a wonderfully soothing promotional video. Check it out after the break. Update: We've been told from the floor at Computex that MSI will begin shipping its new robots in Q1 2011 for about $150 (model R500), $450 (M800), and $600 (R1300). They are still undecided if this will include North American and European markets.

  • Toshiba reveals "pink" Portege M800 to help with breast cancer, probably won't sell any

Look, we hate to be crude -- after all, you won't find any bigger proponents for bulking up the breast cancer research fund than the team here at Engadget -- but Toshiba might have a tough time selling its latest Portégé M800. We mean, just look at it. We're not exactly sure how it gets off calling this thing "pink," but the 13.3-inch machine will be sold (or just stocked) exclusively at Best Buy Canada for $799.99. As for specs, you're looking at a 4.6-pound chassis, 2GHz T3200 CPU, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Intel's GMA4500M integrated graphics, a dual-layer DVD writer, Bluetooth / WiFi and a built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam. $40 of each sale will be contributed to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, though we'd probably recommend picking up something a touch less ugly and just mailing in a donation yourself.[Via ChipChick]

Toshiba's been cranking out a pretty steady stream of laptops since the year began, and it's making sure no slacking goes on in May. Revealed today, the 13.3-inch Portégé M800 weighs in at 4.3-pounds and will be available with a white pearl finish with silver accents, not to mention the white LEDs within meant to keep things classy. Furthermore, you'll find a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T5750, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a WXGA (1,280 x 800) panel, Intel's GMA X3100 graphics set, a built-in DVD burner, three USB 2.0 ports, FireWire / VGA / headphone sockets, 802.11a/g/n WiFi, 56k modem, gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and Vista Home Premium running the show. Regrettably, there's no word on price, but you won't see this one arrive in Europe until Q3, anyway.[Via Tech Digest, thanks to everyone who sent this in]

Why hello hello Mr. M800, thanks for officially joining the QWERTY party. Hot on the heels of their X800 launch comes the keyboard totin' M800 sharing most of the same goodies included that 2.8-inch, 480 x 640 (VGA!) touchscreen. If you love WinMo 6 Professional powered by a 500MHz Samsung S3C2442 CPU and riding atop quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA data, SiRF Star III GPS, WiFi b/g, Blutooth 2.0+EDR, and a 2 megapixel camera then this is about as good as it gets. Someday, as no price or ship date is mentioned, although it's listed on Expansys for $750 unlocked. A few more shots after the break.[Via Pocket PC Thoughts]Read -- ExpansysRead

  • When just one phone watch won't do

Talking at your wrist looks crazy enough to passers by as it is. Talking at your wrist when your wrist looks like this -- well now, that's another story altogether. The second watch from the left is apparently the M800, the latest generation in the phone watch (and fashion debacle) lineage featuring a slimmer body, a 1.3 inch touchscreen with a stylus built into the wristband, integrated speakerphone, and Bluetooth. Again, though: why would you want Bluetooth when you can talk at your wrist?[Via Slashphone]

We've had our eye on this willowy little minnow ever since we first gave it a proper once over at CeBIT earlier this year, and now E-TEN has announced that its everything-but-the-keyboard Glofiish X800 WM6 Pocket PC is finally shipping (we saw it unlocked on MobilePlanet for $650). Very similar to a number of 3.5G HTC devices already on the market, the X800 steps up the game by offering a sexy 2.8-inch, 640 x 480 screen, 500MHz Samsung processor, and dedicated SiRFstar III GPS chipset. Still, if you can hold out just a little bit longer, a QWERTY-fied M800 boasting the same specs is right around the corner.

  • E-Ten's Glofiish M800: a better X800 with QWERTY

As we noted back in March, the only thing missing from E-Ten's quad-band GSM, UMTS/HSDPA, and GPS packing Glofiish X800 was the QWERTY. No more. Meet the Glofiish M800, ready to throw down with the best that HTC has to offer when it hits Europe in late November / early December for about €599 (nearly $850) pre-subsidy. For that you get all the best of the X800 -- WinMo 6 Professional on a VGA (480 x 640) touchscreen, SiRFstar III GPS, HSDPA data, standard 2.5-mm audio jack -- but with a beefier 500MHz processor and 1530mAh battery and suit-tacular QWERTY in tow. Without a doubt, a worthy contender... on paper anyway. [Via mobility site]

  • Touchmate's Craz M800 with fake diamonds

The Touchmate Craz M800 Gold is touted as the "world's smallest mobile with built-in-diamond & MP4," and let's be honest, you can't beat that with even the heaviest stick. While we get the MP4 bit, we couldn't for the life of us find where the diamond actually was. Sadly, with a bit more research, grim realization struck, cold, hard, and fast: it's a "Swarovski Crystal Diamond," not a real diamond at all. After we got over the shock, called friends and had it stricken from our wish lists, we were able to get to the deets. The Craz M800 packs 128 MB of built-in memory, audio and video recording via USB (we have no clue), and a 1.3 megapixel camera, all wrapped in a spiffy leather tote case. No word on what band it is, or even what technology it is using, but let's face it -- in this case, that's just as well. [Via I4U]

  • Maxian launching 30GB, TV-recording M800 PMP

Korean manufacturer Maxian looks to be set to drop a new PMP on parts of the world other than this one with its newly-unveiled M800, though an exact launch date has yet to be announced. Like Maxian's T600, this one boasts direct video recording from a TV or other source, with a 30GB hard drive for you to fill up and a 4.3-inch WQVGA screen for you to watch it all on. If you prefer your media pre-recorded, it also supports AVI, MPEG, ASF, WMV, DAT, and VOB formats -- a much more thorough selection than some recent PMPs we've seen. While it looks like we're out of luck on this one here in North America, it seems you'll be able to snag one in Korea, Europe, China, and Hong Kong in your choice of black or white for the equivalent of $415 US.[Via DAPreview]
