Those who haven't already enjoyed the critically-beloved Gone Home via digital distribution can pick up the game at retail in a new "Boxed Special Edition" which arrives on July 3. Developer The Fullbright Company has teamed with Merge Games to release the Boxed Special Edition to stores in the UK, Ireland, Italy, and Benelux and Nordic countries, alongside international releases in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the Czech Republic. If you live outside of these regions but still want to get your hands on the Super Nintendo-inspired packaging, Merge Games will also offer the Boxed Special Edition via its website. Alongside a DRM-free version of Gone Home, the Boxed Special Edition includes that snazzy packaging, a Steam key, sticker, poster and art book. Pricing varies based on location and retailer discretion, but Merge claims the game will be available in the UK at £19.95, other European regions at €24.95 and in Australia for $29.95 AUD. Mode 7's indie tactical-combat darling Frozen Synapse is coming to retail via a special boxed edition this fall, courtesy of publisher Merge Games. This collector's edition will be compatible with both PC and Mac, and tosses in the game's soundtrack, a sticker and postcard, plus a Steam key to unlock an additional copy of the game for a friend or curiously nice enemy. Hey, it's none of our business how you treat your enemies! The Red expansion pack – an update from back in May that added co-op gameplay, a new unit, a new game mode and a host of new missions – is also included in this collector's edition package. Frozen Synapse: Collector's Edition will be exclusive to UK retailers and launches on September 7.

Despite selling over 1 million copies of Terraria across Terra Firma, Merge Games believes the title has yet to reach a key demographic: PC game buyers without internet connections. Okay, okay, it's also possible that the Merge Games-published "Collector's Edition" of the Re-Logic-developed 2D indie hit is popular enough to warrant a version made especially for superfans, but we much prefer the concept of a board meeting to discuss a gradually disappearing group of people.Anyway, the collector's edition of Terraria will run EU residents £19.95 (€23.80/$31.30) when it arrives at retailers on March 16, and will come packed with "an exclusive in-game item, a poster, a key ring, and trading cards." That's about $20 more than the digital copy costs you on Steam right this minute -- but does that contain the adorable little pickaxe keychain (seen after the break)? Yeah, we didn't think so.It's unclear if the collector's version of Terraria will arrive in North America or Asia, but we've asked Merge Games for clarification.
