Last month, It came from the Blog held its annual Flamefest, celebrating the Midsummer Fire Festival. Each year, we pick a continent and flame it. This year, we set the Eastern Kingdoms on fire. First, we met in Brill, where the statue of the Dark Lady presides over all doings there. Then we went to the ruins of Lordaeron and took the portal to Silvermoon City. We rode through town, out the front gate and over to the fire outside Falconwing Square. After that, we headed to Tranquillien in the Ghostlands to honor the flame there. We took the flightpath back to the city, ran to the portal, returned to the ruins and then headed to Silverpine Forest. Once there, we traveled to the Sepulcher where we again honored the flame and spun around in circles. Then off to Tarren Mill we went, passing inconspicuous bears as we went.

It's that time of year again, when It came from the Blog sets fire to the Azeroth countryside. When: Saturday, June 25 at noon EDT (9 a.m. PDT, 10 a.m. server time) for the pre-event gathering and 12:30 p.m. EDT for the actual event Where: Meet at the flame in Silvermoon City on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) Who: Any level Horde player How: Ask any member of It came from the Blog for an invite, if you are not already in one of our family of guilds. What: Flames. Duh. This is an all-levels event that will begin with a party and end in guaranteed death. So bring your party gear and keep your shiny armor in the bank. Last year, we had two epic flame related events. We sauntered around the Eastern Kingdoms for Flamefest 2010 and we also flamed Kalimdor during the Server Maintenance Party. Hundreds of people showed up for the latter, which was fun and terrifying at the same time. I don't expect anywhere near that many this year, but the more the merrier. We have yet to crash the server and have room for hundreds in our event guild. I will be streaming the event as usual, so if you can't join us on Zangarmarsh, you can watch the video. Please join us! Please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) in It came from the Blog. Anyone can invite, so /whisper Roblinator or any online member. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules -- basically, don't be a funsucker! Visit the guild FAQ for more details.

Last Saturday, <It came from the Blog> flamed the Eastern Kingdoms. We started at Silvermoon City, hanging out, chatting and pole dancing. We then proceeded to work our way down the continent, hitting all of the Horde flames and some of the Alliance ones. The first half of the event was an all-levels affair. Stay on the road! Protect the lowbies! But then the mid- to high-levels abandoned the lowbies at Hammerfall and we took flight paths the rest of the way, There was a slight glitch, however. (Perfect is boring.) Robinator didn't have the flight path in the Burning Steppes. But that turned out to be a good thing. We landed in Swamp of Sorrows, rode through Darkshire and then into Lakeshire to get to the Burning Steppes. This allowed us to douse a few more Alliance fires. I should have planned it that way all along. It was a lot of fun, as usual. This was the first time I had streamed an event, and I liked it. I'll continue to do that from now on. Stay tuned for the pics from the Server Maintenance Party. And I'll let you know what this month's event will be as soon as I know. %Gallery-96717%

Today is the day <It came from the Blog> flames an entire continent in honor of the Midsummer Fire Festival. Day: Saturday, June 26 Time: The Pre-Event Mixer will be at 5 p.m. EDT (2 p.m. PDT, 3 p.m. realm time) and the flaming starts at 5:30 p.m. EDT Meet at: The fountain in front of the Court of the Sun in Silvermoon City on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) We'll have our usual get together before we embark on the Flamefest. The first half of the event will be for all levels and the second half will be for epic mounted characters that have all the flightpaths. For first timers: We will not have a raid, because there will be too many people. I use all caps to make myself heard, so there is no shouting but me. I haven't decided whether I am bringing Robinator or Robinella to the party, so look for either. The italics below have details as to how to join the guild. Hope to see you there! Update: The event will be streamed (at least audio, possibly video) from Ustream. Join us there if you can't join us in game. Please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) in <It came from the Blog>. Ask Robiness, Robinemia or any member online for an invite. Guild ranks of Lurker or above have the ability to invite. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules, that can be summed up with "Don't be a Funsucker!" Also, please see the guild FAQ for the most common questions.
