  • WoW Moviewatch: How to Rig a Pet Battle

Pet battling isn't easy. Sometimes you come up against the perfect team, all of your attacks seem to miss, and you're left floundering. And sometimes, like in the video above, you try to rig things in your favor. (Though the active word is definitely try.) Yes, Mooclucking clearly understands all of our battle pet frustrations. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem like a good solution for them. We'll just have to do our best to keep forging through even the toughest pet battles... and maybe steer clear of the pug while we're at it. Interested in the wide world of machinima? • WoW Moviewatch: You want to be a hunter

Have you been thinking about rolling a hunter? If so, you might want to start by checking out this machinima by Mooclucking which walks you through the hunter basics. Unfortunately, this hunter trainer has seen a few too many night elf hunters named Legolas (or some equally identifiable variant) in his time and doesn't have much patience for newbies... but it all works out in the end. After all, the spirit healer can fix that right up, so happy hunting! Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! • WoW Moviewatch: The Eve of Winter Veil

So just what is the true meaning of Winter Veil? We're not entirely sure, but we are pretty sure that the two questionable heroes in this video by Mooclucking haven't figured it out, either. Using the holiday season to rob the affluent homes of Stormwind City by sneaking down chimneys (how do they fit?), the duo's crime spree seems to be quite successful (having netted a Ragnaros action figure that Blizzard clearly needs to merchandise themselves). Of course, since it is the holiday season, the two are struck by a rather explosive crisis of conscious which leads to a Grinch-style change of heart. How long this crisis will last is anyone's guess, but judging by our heroes, it might not be long... so let's enjoy the holiday spirit while it lasts. Happy Winter Veil, everyone! • WoW Moviewatch: Old Gods Are Everywhere

I don't think it's a secret that I'm a fan of the Old Gods -- I like writing about them, I like coming up with crazy theories about them, and I just like the whole vibe of terrifying beasts of darkness lurking below the earth. Needless to say, when I ran across this machinima from earlier this year by Mooclucking, I was absolutely delighted. Old Gods Are Everywhere is a pretty self-explanatory title, but the machinima surprised me with its delivery -- several of the jokes had me laughing almost immediately from the visuals. And since we're in full swing of Hallow's End, it seemed only appropriate to share the film's tongue-in-cheek, slightly spooky message during the holiday. After all, you never know where you'll find an Old God next. If you like the video, be sure to check out Mooclucking's channel on Youtube for more machinima. • WoW Moviewatch: Beta is beta

It's awfully hard to explain the process of being in beta to someone that has never been in a beta before, but Mooclucking managed to put together something that approximates the experience. Beta is Beta does include some footage from the Warlords of Draenor beta, but there are no spoilers to be had here. Instead, there's a small and maybe slightly exaggerated smattering of the typical kinds of things you'll see when you're on a beta server, where the game isn't quite finished and the levels don't really matter. Warlords of Draenor is the sixth beta I've been in, and Mooclucking's video isn't exactly that far off the mark in terms of what you see while you're in there. Needless to say, this video had me cracking up, especially the bit with the mages and their unfortunate spell gone wrong. Take a look at the video above, and if you enjoyed it, pay a visit to Mooclucking's Youtube channel while you're at it. Interested in the wide world of machinima? As you've been busily stomping on sha and bringing down vile red despots, have you ever stopped to wonder: where are the death knights in all this? Sure, plenty of player death knights are on the raid, collecting boar livers, and doing dailies. But what's the big NPC folks been doing? Not for nothing, but Mograine might have been helpful in that final epic battle. Mooclucking and Nixxiom tackle this troubling absence in Where are they now? Darion Mograine. When they went looking into the missing leader, nothing could have prepared them for what they found. The shocking answer will surprise you. Interested in the wide world of machinima? Mooclucking put forth the effort to characterize the essential love changes to the game brings out in the playerbase. I know when I hear some troubling news, I immediately throw my computer down the mountainside. I then bury my game discs in a shallow grave, and carefully salt the earth around it so that nothing can grow. Or, maybe, I take some time to chill out and see what the game will actually be like. You know, one of those two things. That's because I keep my emotions Grounded in reality. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! When Nixxiom and Mooclucking tackle The Culling of Arthas, you can bet you're in for a good time. Of course, my mere Arthas can't possible do full Arthas to this Arthas, so I'd invite you to read their words about the video: Hello, Arthas. It's been a long Arthas but at last I'm here with a brand new Arthas! I've been busy a lot with Arthas lately so I've been preoccupied with writing Arthas', making Arthas projects, and preparing for my Arthas finals. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean I have forgotten Arthas! So here is a short Arthas for your viewing Arthas. Hope you all enjoy Arthas! So, I hope you Arthas this video and take the time to leave Arthas some feedback. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Crossing the Chain is a charming new machinima by Mooclucking. Not only are the graphics pretty well done, but the short video delivers its punchline without undue delay. I appreciate the tight scripting and the hearty callbacks to days of yore. The concept is a great one; I've always wondered how we expect those little buggers to get around so fast, and I'm sure more than a few pet battlers have been tempted to send their squires off to certain doom. Overall, Crossing the Chain was a very satisfying piece. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! • WoW Moviewatch: Why did you join the Horde?

Not everyone joined the Horde for the same reason. Some people joined out of a deep love of indiscriminate violence while others are just terrified of gnomes. But to help understand how the Horde came to be how it is, Mooclucking took the time to interview multiple Horde members and asked them, Why did you join the Horde? This is a fantastic video. Mooclucking really knocked it out of the park and I'm excited to see what he could do in the future. It boasts a solid punchline, a simple format, and an incredibly effective presentation. Check it out and let us know what you think. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature?
