Now the original is back, and updated for 2012. What's new? Well, there's a redesigned anti-slip, fingerprint-fighting finish, three interchangeable side panels and a re-optimized button placement. It's all designed to stop your fevered swipes from landing your mouse on the other side of the LAN, and help fend off a dreaded bout of "Warfare-wrist". Reckon you deserve an upgrade? US and EU gamers can get their $80 dollar-laden hand on it now, and the rest of the realm later in Q2.</p><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/09/razer-naga-mmo-mouse-2012-refresh/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Razer Naga MMO mouse gets some work done, fresh for 2012</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/09/razer-naga-mmo-mouse-2012-refresh/">Razer Naga MMO mouse gets some work done, fresh for 2012</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 09 May 2012 02:50:00 EST. The Wraith Red edition keeps the same six mechanically-driven side buttons as the original, but drapes the top shell and lights in an infernal red. It's otherwise functionally similar to the Razer-green Naga Hex we had <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/06/irl-blue-microphones-yeti-western-digital-my-passport-and-raze/">mixed feelings</a> about last month. Gamers who like what it offers don't have to wait for Blizzard's action role-playing game to show, as it's shipping now in the US for $80 and should be ready for the rest of the world by the end of the spring.</p><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/03/razer-naga-hex-mouse-gets-wraith-red-edition/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Razer Naga Hex mouse gets Wraith Red edition for manic Diablo III clicking</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/03/razer-naga-hex-mouse-gets-wraith-red-edition/">Razer Naga Hex mouse gets Wraith Red edition for manic Diablo III clicking</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Thu, 03 May 2012 01:51:00 EST. That comes after it received the required 10,000 Likes in less than a week -- a full three weeks ahead of its April 21st deadline. Unfortunately, there's no indication of a release date just yet, but you can rest assured that the MMO-focused mouse will be otherwise identical to its right-handed counterpart. The complete specs can be found in the press release after the break.</div><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/31/razer-confirms-plans-to-release-left-handed-naga-gaming-mouse/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Razer confirms plans to release left-handed Naga gaming mouse</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/31/razer-confirms-plans-to-release-left-handed-naga-gaming-mouse/">Razer confirms plans to release left-handed Naga gaming mouse</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 31 Mar 2012 02:13:00 EST. Well, it appears <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/22/razer-blade-review/">Razer</a> has heard the clamoring and plans to produce a southpaw version of the gaming mouse. The catch? A Facebook page must receive 10,000 Likes in a month in order for the project to move forward. Before you get too excited, the outfit warns that the left-handed Naga will take a year or more to complete -- but if the vote quota is reached, Min-Liang Tan gave his word to make it happen. Seems like it'll happen, too, as the page has currently received over 6,000 Likes. It's time to whip that lazy right thumb into shape, to end its freeloading ways and make sure it's fully maximized. The Razer Naga Hex is the way to go. Think of it as a somewhat simplified version of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/18/razer-naga-mmo-mouse-and-megasoma-mat-unboxing-and-hands-on/">Razer Naga MMO</a>, dropping to six buttons and re-arranging them into a hexagonal pattern. It's designed for the burgeoning action-RPG gamer -- or for those who spent too much time playing Battletech with little painted figures. The $80 mouse is available for pre-order now and will ship later this month before popping up in stores in March.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/10/razer-naga-hex-gaming-mouse/">Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse asks your single thumb to do sextuple duty</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 10 Jan 2012 11:58:00 EST. Ever go to a LAN party and find it's taking too long to get your gear set up the way you like? Probably not, especially if you own a Razer or other <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/gaming+mouse/">gaming mouse</a> that stores your preferences on its internal memory. Still, it would be far easier if your tweaks were stored in the cloud and available everywhere -- which is the thinking behind Synapse 2.0. All of your button, axis and sensitivity adjustments will be available for you to pull down and use with the company's range of peripherals if you're at home, the LAN center or at work (after hours, of course.) The service is currently in internal beta but 500 lucky <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/18/razer-naga-mmo-mouse-and-megasoma-mat-unboxing-and-hands-on/">Razer Naga</a> owners will get access to the second beta if they sign up at the source link below. There's also a press release -- scroll down at 5600dpi and click "Read More."</div><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/21/razer-synapse-2-0-take-your-fussy-gaming-setup-wherever-you-go/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Razer Synapse 2.0: take your fussy gaming setup wherever you go</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/21/razer-synapse-2-0-take-your-fussy-gaming-setup-wherever-you-go/">Razer Synapse 2.0: take your fussy gaming setup wherever you go</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 21 Oct 2011 14:04:00 EST. While our eye-hand clicking capabilities are usually relegated to "upload image" and "RT" and the occasional "ban commenter," that doesn't stop us from dreaming of a world where we're an elite vid-gamer (that's "video gamer" to any n00bs out there), an entire virtual world at our beck and call. Razer can help us live that dream with its <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/naga">Naga MMO mouse</a>, which has a wild assortment of numbered buttons on its side to be theoretically assigned to those high-powered abilities we've theoretically invested countless hours into obtaining -- or theoretically paid a good price to a gold farmer for. Now Razer has a wireless version of the 5600 dpi laser mouse, using the same wired / wireless tech of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/22/razer-mamba-wired-wireless-gaming-mouse-impressions/">Razer Mamba</a> (which is nice for when a theoretical gaming session stretches beyond the 12 hour continuous use mark the mouse is rated for) to let you plug in at will. There's also a charging dock that conveniently doubles as the 2.4GHz wireless base station. "That's great, Razer," you might say, "but what will I put this mouse on top of?" They're glad you asked. Razer is simultaneously launching a new ultrasmooth mousepad dubbed "Ironclad," built out of a single piece of aluminum. The pad will retail for $60 this month, with the mouse following for $130 in November. <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-debuts-wireless-naga-mmo-mouse-ironclad-mousepad/">Razer debuts wireless Naga MMO mouse, Ironclad mousepad</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-debuts-wireless-naga-mmo-mouse-ironclad-mousepad/#3464640"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/razer-ironclad-04-gal_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-debuts-wireless-naga-mmo-mouse-ironclad-mousepad/#3464642"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/razer-ironclad-03-gal_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-debuts-wireless-naga-mmo-mouse-ironclad-mousepad/#3464643"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/razer-ironclad-02-gal_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-debuts-wireless-naga-mmo-mouse-ironclad-mousepad/#3464644"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/razer-ironclad-01-gal_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-debuts-wireless-naga-mmo-mouse-ironclad-mousepad/#3464645"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/razer-naga-08-gal_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/13/razer-debuts-wireless-naga-mmo-mouse-ironclad-mousepad/">Razer debuts wireless Naga MMO mouse, Ironclad mousepad</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 13 Oct 2010 14:31:00 EST. Still curious if there's a market for mice with a dozen or more buttons on the side? Wonder no more. Just over a year after Razer caused every MMO addict in existence to salivate uncontrollably with the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/18/razer-naga-mmo-mouse-and-megasoma-mat-unboxing-and-hands-on/">Naga</a> comes this: a new duo of special edition Naga creations. For all intents and purposes, the Naga Maelstrom and Naga Molten are identical to the original in terms of functionality, but there's a decent chance you'll want to lift your palm from the surface of these a lot more frequently. Both units are graced with special edition lids, and somehow still feature 17 "MMO-optimized" buttons while adding a touch of glow underneath. Both models are slated to ship worldwide next month, with pricing set for $79.99 / &euro;79.99 (the same as the original, if you just have to know). Per usual, the full presser is after the break. <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-naga-maelstrom-and-molten-press-photos/">Razer Naga Maelstrom and Molten press photos</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-naga-maelstrom-and-molten-press-photos/#3440511"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/rzrnagamoltenside_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-naga-maelstrom-and-molten-press-photos/#3440512"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/rzrnagamoltentop_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-naga-maelstrom-and-molten-press-photos/#3440513"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/rzrnagamaelstromtop_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/razer-naga-maelstrom-and-molten-press-photos/#3440514"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/10/rzrnagamaelstromside_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/06/razers-special-edition-naga-maelstrom-and-molten-mice-too-pret/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Razer's special edition Naga Maelstrom and Molten mice: too pretty to touch</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/06/razers-special-edition-naga-maelstrom-and-molten-mice-too-pret/">Razer's special edition Naga Maelstrom and Molten mice: too pretty to touch</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 06 Oct 2010 06:14:00 EST. <div align="left"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Razer/">Razer</a>'s got a knack for cranking out the unusual, and from the First Edition <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/12/13/razer-boomslang-collectors-edition-2007-finally-on-sale/">Boomslang</a>, the outfit has also had a thing for developing gaming mice that demanded respect. The recently announced <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/19/razer-adds-a-dozen-keys-to-naga-mmo-mouse-intros-rollable-gamin/">Naga</a> (which is now shipping out to customers, by the way) is one of the most bizarre mice yet, boasting no fewer than 12 buttons on the left side and a promise of making your MMO gaming a more enjoyable experience. Alongside the wired USB critter, Razer also introduced a patently gigantic gaming surface, the $49.99 Mesasoma. We were able to spend some time with each of these peripherals, so hop on down to the gallery for a closer look and on past the break for a few impressions.<br /></div>

Who says <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/MMO/">MMO</a> gamers are alienated by <strike>everyone</strike> accessory makers? Across the pond in Germany, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Razer/">Razer</a> has stepped up to serve the needs of basement-dwelling World of Warcraft players with its first dedicated MMO mouse. The Naga, as it's so beautifully called, gives users a dozen customizable buttons on the side in order to take some of those keyboard macros (or just the 1 - 12 number keys) and put them within thumb's reach. The mouse (shown in video after the break) also ships with a robust software suite that can save unlimited profiles and program "thousands of different in-game commands for each character you choose to play." In case that's not enough to get your juices flowing, the company also outed an all new gaming surface (the Megasoma) that can be rolled up and tucked away for easy transport between LAN parties. Check the read link for all the nitty-gritty details, and get ready to hand over $79.99 for the critter and $49.99 for the mouse when they ship worldwide later this year.<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/19/razer-adds-a-dozen-keys-to-naga-mmo-mouse-intros-rollable-gamin/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Razer adds a dozen keys to Naga MMO mouse, intros rollable gaming surface</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/peripherals/" rel="tag">Peripherals</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/19/razer-adds-a-dozen-keys-to-naga-mmo-mouse-intros-rollable-gamin/">Razer adds a dozen keys to Naga MMO mouse, intros rollable gaming surface</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 19 Aug 2009 16:21:00 EST.
