It's been a long time (if ever) since there has been a free-to-play game that has caused quite as much uproar as Allods Online has. From item shop pricing to death mechanics, there are a lot of players who think this game has real potential. The one thing that many really seem to like about Allods Online is the colorful, interesting locales you can visit in the game, such as this screenshot of a port sent in to us by Pedro. He writes in: In this screenshot i wanted to show the view from the port of the capital city allod, which is the name of the floating islands in the game. There are tons of interesting sights out there in MMO land, but we need you to make One Shots happen. So while you're out playing today, why not grab a screenshot of something interesting for us! Then all you have to do is email it to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. We'll post it out here for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit. %Gallery-85937%

While several portions of Allods Online bear some similarity to World of Warcraft, there are places like this beautiful airship where they've clearly done their own thing art-wise. Today's great Allods Online screenshot comes to us from regular Massively commenter Pedro (the other Pedro) who tells us a bit more about this scenic view: This is one the Astral ships of the League. Later in Allods every player will be able to have his own ship, navigate in the Astral (the space of the game) and participate in ship versus ship PvP. Should make for some interesting battles! Are you in the Allods Online beta? Would you like to share some great scenes we haven't seen as yet? If so, grab those screenshots, toss them in an email to oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name and a quick description, then hit 'send.' Yep, it's that easy. We'll then take your screenshot and showcase it out here for everyone to enjoy. %Gallery-9798%

While we're zipping through starter areas learning the controls of an MMO, many probably won't take a moment to step back and enjoy the view. Thankfully, we have some great One Shots contributors who capture just such moments and share them with us! Today's example comes from Warhammer Online and was sent in to us by regular Massively reader, Pedro. He writes: Most of the times we are all just too worried about leveling up to stop and just admire the art behind every MMO. Would you like to show off your mad screenshot "photographic" eye? We'd love to see the areas you think are best. Just email your images in to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com. Be sure to add in your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post it out here for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit. %Gallery-9798%

  • Napoleon Dynamite gets a PSP videogame

Crave Entertainment announced their plans on bringing the cult-favorite Napoleon Dynamite to smaller screens, or more specifically, PSP and DS screens. The game will include popular characters from the film, like Pedro, Uncle Rico and our favorite, Kip. No word yet on LaFawnduh Lucas. We hope the game includes a (sweet) bike race with Napoleon dodging ligers and Deb tossing boondoggle key chains at chickens with large talons. The possibilities are endless. No further details at this time other than the announcement, but stay tuned for more.[Via DS Fanboy]
