The DS may allow you to innocently fondle witches, but thanks to Spanish developer Revistronic, you'll soon be able to slap on a metal bra and fight them. In the recently-announced Project Witches, players fight against a ravening horde of satanic creatures bent on taking over the world. Revistronic promises a fully-interactive environment -- you can even wield severed limbs as weapons, and just wait 'til Jack Thompson hears about that one -- and an all-new game engine that will apparently squeeze as much as possible out of next gen platforms. Project Witches has been announced for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 ... and yes, our own Wii. We're interested in seeing what they have in store for Nintendo's latest, considering that the focus and thrust of the Wii's power is rather different than that of the other two next-gen platforms. Cooperation is said to be one of the major themes in Project Witches, and that means online co-op play. Let's hope that heads our way as well!

Team Xbox got their hands on the first screens and details on Project WITCHES, which is being developed by Revistronic, who are based in Spain. Primary bullet points include that the game is built upon the concept of cooperative play over Xbox Live. The environment will have a stark contrast between the sultry (read: scantily clad females) withes against evil creatures in a dark and dirty medieval setting. Some of the promises made sound a little PR heavy, but still pique our interest. Thankfully, Project WITCHES is just a working title.
