It's time for this month's It came from the Blog event and we're going to be virtually drinking. Again. This time the excuse is so that we can hit some famous and not-so-famous bars around Azeroth. We'll begin our journey with Barkeep Morag in Orgrimmar. Here are the details: When: Friday, April 26 at 10:30 p.m. EDT (7:30 p.m. PDT, 8:30 p.m. server time) Where: Meet at the inn in the Valley of Strength, Orgrimmar on Zangarmarsh (US-PvE-H) Who: Any character level 10 or above How: Just ask any It came from the Blog member if you are not already in our family of guilds. What: Virtual booze, travel, more virtual booze, probably no death -- this time You should be at least level 10, so that you can join a raid group. You also should have some money for drinking, but I can provide libations for those who are short on cash. So join us for Bar Crawl 2013! And if you normally play Alliance please create a Horde character and join us anyway. You'll be able to see some places that are new to you and have some fun as well. Choose My Adventure: Where's Roblinator?
Choose the adventures of the WoW.com staff as we level our characters in <It came from the Blog> on Zangarmarsh (US-PvE-H). She's in there somewhere -- falling to her doom. Not really. A parachute appeared. No goblins were harmed in the taking of that screenshot. Anyway, here's the schedule: Robin Torres as Roblinator the goblin huntress: Wednesday, 11 p.m. EDT Update: TBA Amy Schley as Patent, the level 23 troll rogue: Thursday, 10 p.m. EDT Lisa Poisso as Prupher the proofreading druid: Thursday, 10 p.m. EDT Fox Van Allen as Foxlight, the level 22 blood elf paladin: Friday, 8 p.m. EDT Michael Sacco as Shockbroker, the goblin shaman; Christian Belt, as Selfloathius, the level 16 blood elf warlock; Elizabeth Harper as Faience, the level 24 troll shaman; Matthew Rossi as Andrenorton, the level 17 troll mage; Michael Gray as Grayfields, the level 17 tauren hunter; and Gregg Reece as Sandwichdoc, the level 16 troll shaman, will be making appearances as they can. I'm playing Roblinator on Lost Isles (US-PvE-H) during my session tonight and will be streaming. Update: Due to the fact that I am having to reinstall the beta and The Spawn is being rather emo today, I am postponing the stream until later on in the week. Fallen Earth St. Paddy's Day pub crawl
Those crazy leprechauns over at Icarus Studios have done it again. They're putting on a wasteland-flavored St. Patrick's Day pub crawl sure to please anyone who likes apocalypses, beer, the color green, or post-apocalyptic green beer. Log in to Fallen Earth between 11:00 am March 17 and 1:00 am March 18 and stop by any of the watering holes listed in the original press release to join in the tomfoolery. Be sure and take screen shots of any shenanigans you encounter, and send them to ssouthivorarat at fallenearth dot com by 12:00pm EST on March 19 for your chance to win special prizes. Rumor has it that including the apocalyptic leprechaun in your shots may boost your chances.
