Ah, a childhood favorite revisited. Years back, our hearts were taken by the one and only Robo Catcher, and now it seems the famed toy snatching game has seen a revamping that features JR Robotics' RB2000 as the main grabber. The entire unit has also been freshened up in the design department, and the addition of a joystick control system brings it up to speed with all of its "just a claw game" rivals. Hop on past the break for a look at what you're missing out on here in the states.

We're all familiar with the ol' UFO Catcher crane-and-claw game right? Well check the latest Japanese twist to the carny fave: the Robo Catcher. No, it's not some kind of submissive robot action game perv, this one's for the kids. Only this time, the claw has been replaced by what appears to be a Kondo KHR-1HV robot which you control via joystick to grab the booty and drop it down the glory chute. Of course, it's only a matter of time until sacrificial humans replace the stuffed bunny prize. Until then, think of it as a glimpse into our dystopian destiny of robotic servitude. Video after the break.
