Today, on the European Wii Shop, Hudson follows up its surprisingly successful My Aquarium with more animals to take care of. Also on WiiWare, Nintendo's still-weird Balance Board-equipped Rock N' Roll Climber, whose rock-climbing/air-guitar concept, and whose non-standard apostrophe use we'll never get used to. The big draw for us is the arcade brawler version of Ninja Gaiden, which seems fresh to us after 20 years of dodging eagles in the NES game. My Zoo (WiiWare, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) Rock N' Roll Climber (WiiWare, 1 player, 800 Wii Points) Ninja Gaiden (Arcade, 1 player, 800 Wii Points) A Little Bit Of .... Nintendo Touch Golf (DSiWare, 800 DSi Points)

It would be a kind of blah week on the Nintendo Channel, due to nothing but old demos and generally unexciting videos -- if not for the inclusion of a gameplay trailer for today's most extreme release, Rock 'N Roll Climber. There is no way to feel anything less than amped about a game that combines the dangerously awesome sport of rock climbing with the rebellious, implied rocking of air guitar. After the break, you can see the full list. Spoiler alert: none of the demos involve rocking or rock climbing.

Nintendo's latest Balance Board-equipped game is a WiiWare title that combines the rush of rock climbing with the thrill of single guitar chords. Rock and Roll Climber uses the Wiimote and Nunchuk to simulate arm movements while climbing, while the Balance Board acts to read leg movements. According to our liveblog, at the top of the rock wall, "The character reaches the top, picks up a guitar, and plays a single riff."This isn't entirely unexpected -- the title showed up on the ESRB database last week, but Nintendo apparently wasn't ready to tell us about it!
