It ain't the first time this <em>chef-d'oeuvre</em> has been <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/02/samsung-yp-mb2-appears-at-korean-e-tailer-specs-and-release-dat/">spotted</a> in the wild, but it's the first time that we're confident in believing the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/04/yepp-samsungs-working-on-another-pmp-but-this-ones-a-four/">YP-MB2</a> is legitimate. The smoke that leads to fire is getting harder to duck under, and for all intents and purposes, this here device is a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/GalaxyS/">Galaxy S</a> sans cellular connectivity. We're told that a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 megapixel camera and Android OS will be featured, and it sure feels like it'll be released first in South Korea. Apple may be planning a Fall event for the next big iPod announcement, but at least this go 'round some presumably worthwhile competition will be breathing down its neck. Now, if only we knew a price...<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/17/samsungs-yp-mb2-pmp-spotted-again-in-the-wild-inches-ever-clos/">Samsung's YP-MB2 Android PMP spotted again in the wild, inches ever closer to release</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 17 Aug 2010 09:31:00 EST. As it turns out, there's at least one more possibility: the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/YPMB2/">YP-MB2</a> portable media player, spotted at Korean portal <em>Daum</em> and supposedly ready to launch on the very same day. While rumors surrounding the possible iPod touch competitor have swirled for weeks, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/04/yepp-samsungs-working-on-another-pmp-but-this-ones-a-four/">all we knew for sure</a> was that it was a GPS and WiFi-capable Android 2.1 MID with a four-inch Super AMOLED screen. Now, it looks like it could be everything we wanted in a PMP -- a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/GalaxyS/">Galaxy S</a> missing only the bits that made it a phone -- and capable of decoding DivX, XviD, OGG and FLAC with that 1GHz Hummingbird processor. It's still unlikely we'll ever see it stateside with its <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/TDMB/">T-DMB</a> antenna inside, but if a pared-down version made to the US we'd be most happy to give it a try. Sadly, even the Korean version's just a particularly likely rumor for now, so you'll have to make do with optimistic thoughts and the leaked video below.<br />
<br />
<strong>Update: </strong><em>Samsung Hub</em> spotted what might be the very first real picture of the media player at Korean blog, and sure enough it's looking nice and iPod-like. Spot a high-res version after the break.<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/02/samsung-yp-mb2-appears-at-korean-e-tailer-specs-and-release-dat/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Samsung YP-MB2 appears at Korean e-tailer, specs and release date in tow? Samsung's interstellar voyage with Android has just begun, it seems -- after a host of smartphones and a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/03/samsung-galaxy-tab-revealed/">freshly announced tablet</a>, it looks like the OS will cameo in a new <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yepp">Yepp</a> PMP. The YP-MB2 was recently spotted in the databases of the Bluetooth SIG, where it's described as "a multi functional Mobile Internet Device" with GPS, Wi-Fi, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/touchwiz/">TouchWiz</a> 3.0 and a huge four-inch <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/AMOLED/">AMOLED </a>touchscreen. Digging deeper into the technical documents, we can see it's got Android as well -- oh, and Bluetooth, of course. As the geographic availability section reads "Asia" and the unit's "MB" designation typically means South Korea's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/t-dmb/">T-DMB</a>, we don't expect to ever see it stateside, but when the device surfaces next you can probably expect it to look like a larger <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/10/samsungs-amoled-packin-yp-m1-pmp-available-in-korea-secret-sa/">one of these</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/04/yepp-samsungs-working-on-another-pmp-but-this-ones-a-four/">Yepp, Samsung's working on another PMP -- but this one's a four-inch Android with AMOLED</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 04 Jun 2010 03:24:00 EST. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Samsung/">Samsung</a>'s certainly got the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/samsung,yepp">portable media player</a> design down to a cold, cold science. There isn't much in the way of artistic license here, so let's get on with the specs, shall we? 2.6-inch TFT LCD, microSD slot, FM radio, second-language acquisition programs, text / photo viewer, and video codec support including DivX, XviD, and H.264. Your color choices, with the appropriately inappropriate adjectives, are Indie Black, Techno Silver, and Rap Pink. Korean-only, this little guy will line shelves at KRW139,000 (US $120) with 4GB internal memory, and KRW179,000 (US $155) for 8GB.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/18/samsung-r0-not-so-boldly-goes-where-most-pmps-have-gone-before-i/">Samsung R0 not-so-boldly goes where most PMPs have gone before it</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 18 Nov 2009 04:11:00 EST. You should already be familiar with (or able to guess) the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/12/samsung-yp-r1-portable-media-player-hits-the-fcc/">YP-R1's specs</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/13/samsungs-upcoming-yp-r1-uncovered-just-barely-worth-the-effort/">pricing</a>, so we'll just head straight to the good stuff. Our colleagues at <em>MovePlayer</em> handled a pink sample of the device and liked its 720 x 480 uncompressed video playback, slim casing, DJ utility (your use of which will be inversely proportional to your age), and the host of extra features like FM radio, voice recording and photo organizer. Their one major gripe related to scrolling around in landscape mode, but all in all they found it a very competent, sophisticated-looking entry into the PMP market.<br />

Surely we aren't the only technophiles in attendance champing at the bit to find out if Samsung's fresh <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/03/samsung-m1-pmp-to-challenge-zune-hd-with-some-tegra-of-its-own/">YP-M1</a> has some of NVIDIA's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/24/samsung-confirms-a-tegra-based-smartphone-is-in-the-works-all-o/">hotness inside</a>, but it seems as if we'll still have to wait a bit longer to find out. Right on cue, the AMOLED-equipped portable media player has launched over in South Korea, bringing with it a laundry list of supported file formats, a WQVGA panel, up to 32GB of inbuilt storage and even a DMB TV tuner. If anyone feels like sashaying over to Seoul in order to crack one open and find out what it's <em>really</em> made of, then by all means, be our guest. Just try not to wander too close to that DMZ -- we hear Bill Clinton's rescue fees are through the roof.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/handhelds/" rel="tag">Handhelds</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/10/samsungs-amoled-packin-yp-m1-pmp-available-in-korea-secret-sa/">Samsung's AMOLED-packin' YP-M1 PMP available in Korea, secret sauce still unknown</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 10 Aug 2009 06:07:00 EST. Samsung's launched a teaser page for its YP-M1 media player (<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/14/leaked-samsung-yp-m1-shows-a-more-colorful-spin-on-its-dap-lineu/">look familiar</a>?), and while a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen is impressive in its own right, it's the mention of a NVIDIA chipset that has us most intrigued, especially given Samsung's earlier <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/24/samsung-confirms-a-tegra-based-smartphone-is-in-the-works-all-o/">promise</a> that a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Tegra/">Tegra</a>-based device was in the works. There isn't an indication that these are one in the same just yet, but we wouldn't be surprised to find that CPU packed away somewhere inside. Other known details at this point include a DMB TV tuner, 8GB of storage (at least for the base model), Samsung's TouchWiz UI, text-to-speech functionality, Bluetooth, and DivX support -- not a bad spec list considering it'll likely be up against the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/19/zune-hd-has-a-tegra-processor-confirms-official-zune-podcast/">definitively Tegra-based</a> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/zunehd">Zune HD</a>. Currently up in the air is any word of a price or release date (let along a release 'round here), although it seems Samsung could have more to say on August 13th.<br />

We can't say we've ever been too excited by <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Samsung/">Samsung</a>'s <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Yepp/">Yepp</a> series -- not that it's bad, just nothing particularly worth writing home about. If this pic is any indication of what's to come, however, we are suddenly a bit more interested. The story starts in late June, where an <em>Anything but iPod</em> forum member found a Bluetooth SIG for a then unknown "Samsung MP3 Player" with a 3.3-inch widescreen display and the name YP-M1. Then, just a few days ago on the same thread, a newcomer posts the above picture, presumably being the M1 itself. From what we can glean, it'll be a touch screen with a built-in mic (for the voice recorder) and support for flash. That's not a lot to go by, frankly, but it's hard to see where Sammy's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/YP-P2/">P series</a> would fit with this on the horizon.<br /><br />[Thanks, Yuki]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/14/leaked-samsung-yp-m1-shows-a-more-colorful-spin-on-its-dap-lineu/">Leaked Samsung YP-M1 shows a more colorful spin on its DAP lineup</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 14 Jul 2009 02:34:00 EST. After catching wind of this upcoming YP-R1 from Samsung, the fine folks at <em>DAP Review</em> did a bit of sleuthing to pair up the specs with a photo, and it's all pretty traditional: 8GB of flash storage, a 2.7-inch 400 x 240 touchscreen display, a good amount of video and audio codecs, TV-out, Bluetooth, FM, e-book reader and even some games. Supposedly it'll be out in the UK on July 30th for &pound;109.99 (about $181 US). Like we said, pretty standard stuff, but who knows, maybe Samsung will surprise us all with a new UI theme or something.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/13/samsungs-upcoming-yp-r1-uncovered-just-barely-worth-the-effort/">Samsung's upcoming YP-R1 uncovered, just barely worth the effort</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 13 Jun 2009 20:31:00 EST. A floral Samsung YP-Q1? <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/30/samsung-t10-goes-floral-for-spring/">Yepp</a>, it is. The company's penchant for prettying up its PMP series continues with the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yp-q1">YP-Q1</a> "La Fleur" edition. It's got a new casing and matching UI, but we're not expecting a fresh bouquet to win us over after a <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/08/29/samsung-yp-q1-and-yp-u4-get-an-infuriating-hands-on/">disappointing hands-on</a> with it last April. If you found yourself infatuated with Samsung's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/18/samsungs-colorful-line-of-yp-u3-daps-now-available/">YP-U3</a>, you're sure to love the U4... we think. There's a complete dearth of information regarding the device itself, but given that it already has a placeholder and image on the outfit's Korean Yepp site, we'd say there's a pretty good chance it'll be getting real soon enough. Hold tight, miniature DAP lovers, Sammy won't keep you in the dark much longer.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archives/2008/07/samsung-u4-shows-up-on-the-samsung-korea-site.php">AnythingButiPod</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/06/samsung-u4-dap-emerges-on-korean-website/">Samsung U4 DAP emerges on Korean website</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sun, 06 Jul 2008 09:04:00 EST. When we asked you to list the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/25/how-would-you-change-samsungs-yp-p2/">things you'd change</a> about Samsung's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yp-p2/">YP-P2</a>, a number of you yearned for mobile TV. Granted, you'd have to set up shop in South Korea for your dream to be fully fulfilled, but Samsung's definitely making it possible. The YP-P2 DMB will arrive packing an obligatory T-DMB mobile TV tuner for youngsters and hipsters alike to find their favorite program when those hundreds of albums grow stale. It rains every day and the birds won't shut up -- yeah, spring's here, and Samsung's celebrating by dressing up the <a href="chrome://performancing/content/editor/engadget.com/tag/t10">T10</a> in this fetching black and purple floral number. Details are scarce, as the "La Fleur Special Edition" of the well-regarded PMP isn't official yet, but we'd expect to see it pop up rather soonish.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.pmptoday.com/2008/04/30/samsung-t10-goes-original-like-zune/">PMP Today</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/30/samsung-t10-goes-floral-for-spring/">Samsung T10 goes floral for spring</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 30 Apr 2008 20:36:00 EST. Considering that Samsung's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/YP-P2/">YP-P2</a> just might be the most <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/21/samsungs-yp-p2-gets-firmware-v3-15-a-handful-of-new-features/">updated</a> PMP <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/10/25/samsung-planning-firmware-updates-for-yp-p2/">of</a> all <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/01/samsung-p2-firmware-v3-07-now-available/">time</a>, we're guessing that a lot of things that users would have changed just months ago have already been done by the powers that be. That being said, we critical gadget owners are never truly satisfied at heart, so we're curious to know how you'd spin the forthcoming firmware update(s). Or would you focus your attention on external matters, instead? We know you've had ample time to fool around with one of Sammy's most prized media players ever, so don't be shy down there in comments, alright? Who knows -- your recommendations could be front and center in the next <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/01/samsung-lets-loose-blue-wave-3-firmware-update-for-p2-t10-pmps/">Blue</a> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/01/blue-wave-4-firmware-for-samsung-p2-previewed/">Wave</a>.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/25/how-would-you-change-samsungs-yp-p2/">How would you change Samsung's YP-P2?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 25 Apr 2008 18:30:00 EST. Samsung fans, your wildest dreams have come to fruition. Word on the street is that the company's do-it-all PMP, the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/YPP2/">YP-P2</a>, will be getting an update in the form of a new 16GB model. The new player -- which boasts features like a 3-inch WQVGA screen, Bluetooth 2.0 support, and H.264, OGG, and WMV playback -- will cost somewhere in the vicinity of $347. There's no word on a street date or price for US or European markets, but when we know something, you'll know something.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.pmptoday.com/2008/03/18/samsung-p2-16gb-official/">PMP Today</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/18/samsungs-yp-p2-coming-in-16gb-flavor-soon/">Samsung's YP-P2 coming in 16GB flavor soon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 18 Mar 2008 21:33:00 EST. Apparently, the P2 will be hit with an update this December that enables a Bluetooth connection to one's mobile phone, BT file exchanges and the addition of an e-dictionary (saywha?). In late January of 2008, you can expect an upgraded Touch UI along with FM recording / playback. The elusive "Third Wave" update is set to land next March, but as you can tell from the photo to the right, Sammy's just lettin' your imagination run wild with this one. Just days after <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/18/samsungs-yp-p2-available-on-amazon/">hitting</a> Amazon, Samsung's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/YPP2/">YP-P2</a> is getting a proper unboxing. TheGirl over at <em>YJzone</em> was able to secure the oh-so-slim player and managed to curb that enthusiasm just long enough to snap pictures of the entire opening process. We're sure you're <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/14/samsungs-yepp-yp-p2-touchscreen-dap-with-bluetooth/">up to speed</a> on the device being discussed, so we'll cut ya loose so you can enjoy the pictures, cool?<br /><br />[Thanks, Ilia I.]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/24/samsungs-yp-p2-gets-unboxed/">Samsung's YP-P2 gets unboxed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 24 Sep 2007 20:14:00 EST. We know you can't wait to get your sweaty, smearing mitts all over Samsung's little <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/28/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/">YP-P2</a>, AKA the "palm theater" (the company's words, not ours). Well, it looks like you won't have to wait much longer, as the eighth wonder of the media player world has just made an appearance on Amazon.com, with an option to put the 8GB, widescreen, touch sensitive, Bluetooth equipped iPod-challenger in your cart and do some serious checking out (provided you have an extra $249.99 laying around). Now, don't go spilling your beverage on yourself rushing over to the site, because even though you can pay for the thing, Amazon is still listing the player as "In stock soon," so while you'll be able to impress friends and family members with the news of your purchase, you won't actually be able to show it to them.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/18/samsungs-yp-p2-available-on-amazon/">Samsung's YP-P2 available on Amazon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 18 Sep 2007 23:20:00 EST. There's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2005/12/01/apple-taking-iops-to-court-over-knockoff-ipod-minis/">blatant knockoffs</a>, and then there's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/01/15/keepin-it-real-fake-weekend-edition-most-blatant-nano-knockof/"><em>blatant knockoffs</em></a>. As you can probably tell, this is most certainly a case of the latter, as the so-called creators of the MA-727 didn't even bother to take their own photo. Instead, it looks pretty clear that they simply doctored <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Samsung/">Samsung</a>'s own snapshot of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/07/samsung-t9b-finally-launching-eventually/">T9B</a>, threw a pink miniSD card down beneath, and called it original. Sure, it can supposedly handle just about every format under the sun and touts a 2.4-inch display, built-in speaker, FM tuner, voice recorder, rechargeable Li-ion, and anywhere between 128MB and 2GB of internal storage, but we wouldn't recommend pulling the trigger on this one unless you've got more money than sense.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.pmptoday.com/2007/09/02/ma-727-from-china-rips-samsung-pmp/">PMPToday</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/03/keepin-it-real-fake-part-lxxv-ma-727-apes-samsungs-t9b/">Keepin' it real fake, part LXXV: MA-727 apes Samsung's T9B</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 03 Sep 2007 20:25:00 EST. Ready for it? We've got the release date for Samsung's tasty new Bluetooth media players with FM tuners: the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yp-p2">YP-P2</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yp-t10">YP-T10</a>. September. Ok, it's not so much a date as a range, but mark your calendars anyway and get to saving. How much? Good question, Sammy ain't saying, but you'd best start combing your pockets for the couple of hundie they'll demand. Think about it: the P2 (pictured) brings a proper 16:9 widescreen, 3-inch touchscreen display with up to 8GB of audio/video-hungry flash while the T10 wraps 4GB of your audio and video in a 0.3-inch, super thin dose of sex-ay. Just check the gallery and full specs after the break if you need more convincing.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/">Samsung's P2 and T10 Bluetooth players: Stateside in September</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/#370275"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/p2-white-top1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/#370274"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/p2-burgundy1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/#370243"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/p2-black-angle-view_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/#370241"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/p2-black-sideview_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/#370242"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/p2-black_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/28/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Samsung's P2 and T10 Bluetooth players: Stateside in September</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/28/samsungs-p2-and-t10-bluetooth-players-stateside-in-september/">Samsung's P2 and T10 Bluetooth players: Stateside in September</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 28 Aug 2007 02:54:00 EST. <div align="left">We already caught sight of Samsung's new touchscreen-equipped <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/14/samsungs-yepp-yp-p2-touchscreen-dap-with-bluetooth/">Yepp YP-P2</a> DAP, but it looks like the company has a bit more in store for its Yepp line that just that, with it today officially introducing it along with two other new models. While there's little about the YP-P2 that we didn't already know, Samsung has revealed that it'll also be available in white, although it looks like it and black will be your only two options. As for the two other new players, the YP-S5 and YP-T10 each boast integrated Bluetooth, with the former sporting a built-in speaker and a 1.8-inch 222 x 176 display and the latter boasting a slightly larger 2-inch screen and a promised 30 hours of battery life. Each of those will apparently be available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB varieties, with the YP-T10 also set to be available in purple, red, and lime in addition to the standard black and white options. No word on price, but it looks like the whole lot is headed for Europe first.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-gets-official-with-yp-p2-yp-s5-yp-t10-daps/">Samsung gets official with YP-P2, YP-S5, YP-T10 DAPs</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-gets-official-with-yp-p2-yp-s5-yp-t10-daps/#355213"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/yp-p2_white_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-gets-official-with-yp-p2-yp-s5-yp-t10-daps/#355216"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/yp-s5_black_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-gets-official-with-yp-p2-yp-s5-yp-t10-daps/#355219"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/yp-s5_white_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-gets-official-with-yp-p2-yp-s5-yp-t10-daps/#355218"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/yp-t10_black_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/samsung-gets-official-with-yp-p2-yp-s5-yp-t10-daps/#355217"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/yp-t10_lime_angle_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&amp;sl=de&amp;u=http://www.samsung.com/at/presscenter/ifa07/index.asp&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=translate&amp;resnum=2&amp;ct=result&amp;prev=/search%3Fq%3DSamsung%2BYp%2BS5%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG%26pwst%3D1">Read</a> - Samsung Press Release<br /><a href="http://www.pocket-lint.co.uk/news/news.phtml/9428/10452/samsung-yp-s5-yp-t10-mp3-players.phtml">Read</a>- Pocket-lint, "Samsung YP-S5 and YP-T10 announced"<br /></div>

Ok we admit it, we thought the device pictured over the weekend by<em> Akihabara News</em> was just the iPhone obscured by that iLuv case. But really, those pics were a bit preoccupied with something other than the, ehem, gadget. Fortunately, the good kids over at <em>dapreview</em> sorted it out with pictures and a video of Samsung's sleek new flash player: the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yepp">Yepp</a> YP-P2. A bit of digging also reveals plenty of specs courtesy of several unsubstantiated German language sites. These include up to 8GB of flash; biggie 3-inch, 428 x 240 pixel touch-screen display; MP3, WMV, WMA, and H.264 (MPEG4 AVC), MPEG-4 (ASF) support; Bluetooth (oh yes); integrated speaker and mic; and FM radio in a device just 100 x 52 x 9.2-mm thin. They've even implemented some of that <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/02/apples-patented-the-tablet-mac-part-ii/">virtual click-wheel</a> action hinted at by Apple patent applications but never quite implemented. Check another pic and video walkthrough of the interface after the break. <br /><br /><a href="http://www.dapreview.net/news.php?extend.4055">Read</a> -- dapreview <br /><a href="http://www.preisvergleich.co.at/Preisvergleich/Portable_Audioplayer/548111/Samsung/YP-P2_8GB.html">Read</a> -- unconfirmed specs <br /><a href="http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-14544-A+week+in+Pusan+with+my+iLuv+and+my+Yepp.html">Read</a> -- Akihabara News P2 promotion<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/14/samsungs-yepp-yp-p2-touchscreen-dap-with-bluetooth/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Samsung's Yepp YP-P2 touchscreen DAP with Bluetooth</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/14/samsungs-yepp-yp-p2-touchscreen-dap-with-bluetooth/">Samsung's Yepp YP-P2 touchscreen DAP with Bluetooth</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 14 Aug 2007 02:56:00 EST. If you've been waiting anxiously for more details in regard to an actual ship date for Samsung's Yepp <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yp-u3">YP-U3</a>, it looks like your wait is up. Of course, you've already had ample time to familiarize yourself with the feature list (except for the recently noted voice recording option) and even squash the envy that likely took over after someone got their <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/18/samsung-yp-u3-priced-and-in-the-wild/">grubby fingers</a> on this thing before you, but <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Samsung/">Samsung</a>'s USB'd portable audio player can finally be yours. Apparently, it'll be showing up in black, white, green, blue, and pink, and while white earbuds look to be your only option unless you're picking up the black (surprised?), at least you can select from 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB models.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/18/samsungs-colorful-line-of-yp-u3-daps-now-available/">Samsung's colorful line of YP-U3 DAPs now available</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 18 Jun 2007 17:43:00 EST. Various flavors of Samsung's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=T9">T9</a> music player have been <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/19/samsungs-yepp-t9-hits-korea/">floating</a> around for a good while now, but the Yepp T9+ version packs a little something extra for those not content with just listening to jams. Design wise, not much has changed, as users will still notice a 1.8-inch 220 x 176 resolution display and capacities up to 8GB in size, but this rendition reportedly includes multi-player gaming via built-in <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/07/01/samsungs-yepp-yp-t9-with-bluetooth-hits-fcc/">Bluetooth</a>. It looks like a good five or so titles will be included, and while we've no doubt that Korean users will find one without issue, getting one over here in <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/10/09/samsung-yp-t9-sneaks-into-the-states/">North America</a> probably won't be as easy as it should be.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.electronista.com/articles/07/06/11/samsung.t9.plus/">Electronista</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/wireless/" rel="tag">Wireless</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/12/samsungs-yepp-t9-digital-audio-player/">Samsung's Yepp T9+ digital audio player</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 12 Jun 2007 01:12:00 EST. Samsung's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/yp-u3">YP-U3</a> just made an appearance in France where Generation MP3 pulled an exclusive first look at the nostalgic YEPP audio stick. While confirming the specs we've already seen, GMP3 tells us that the U3 will be set free in Europe this June with prices topping out at &euro;129/$174 for what figures to be the 4GB player. But it's not like we're saving up or anything.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/18/samsung-yp-u3-priced-and-in-the-wild/">Samsung YP-U3 priced and in the wild</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 18 May 2007 09:31:00 EST. <p>So apparently the current version of the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=samsung+k3">Samsung Yepp K3</a> only offers users a rather drab blue interface for navigating through menus, and with so many other colors in the rainbow to choose from, it's kind of sad that the "<a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/21/samsungs-k3-reviewed-so-sleek-its-illegal/">illegally sleek</a>" player doesn't take advantage of them. Well turn those frowns upside down, K3 fans, because not only is Samsung giving the flash-based model a minor bump that enables multicolor displays, a forthcoming firmware update will bring the same cheery palette to current owners. Doesn't look like much else has changed here, with no capacity increases or additional features of note; we guess that until Apple adds video or wireless to the nano, Samsung -- unlike <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=sansa+connect">SanDisk</a> -- feels it can rest on its laurels a bit. </p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/09/samsung-yepp-k3-gets-colorful-gui-so-do-current-owners/">Samsung Yepp K3 gets colorful GUI, as do current owners</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 09 May 2007 03:05:00 EST. We've seen Samsung's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/k3">K3</a> in product shots, pre-release gropes, and out prowling the floor at CES. What we haven't seen until now, is a proper, full-on review of the tiny flash audio player. Fortunately, CNET Asia just corrected that in their usual good, bad, bottom-line review style. Their verdict? The player is sweet, but not tasty enough to warrant an editor's choice rating. Still it pulled a "Very Good" 7.7 of 10 points for its design which is "so sleek, it's illegal" (whatever that means) and "above average" battery life tested at 26 hours 50 minutes while looping 240MB worth of MP3 tracks. The new Media Studio software -- dubbed a "gorgeous" blend of iTunes and Sony's SonicStage -- didn't hurt the rating either. The only real nits are the K3's "smudgy surface" (read: attracts fingerprints) and its proprietary cable. Otherwise, it's one hot piece of DAP which <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/07/video-hands-on-with-samsungs-k3/">we can already attest to</a>. <br /><br />[Thanks, Samsung Fan Boy]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/21/samsungs-k3-reviewed-so-sleek-its-illegal/">Samsung's K3 reviewed -- "so sleek, it's illegal"</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 21 Feb 2007 10:07:00 EST. In today's "because they can" moment, Samsung has decided that in order to truly celebrate the 1-millionth YP-Z5 DAP sold, they must take 10 of them, dip them in 18K gold, and then auction them off to people who like shiny things. As you probably know by now, this <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/23/pentax-unveils-shiny-lx-gold-slr-to-celebrate-60-years/">blingification</a> isn't <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/22/24-carat-gold-hp-laserjet-p2015-cheaper-than-a-ps3/">anything</a> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/16/minox-dc1011-now-gold-plated-for-the-casino-set/">new</a> in the consumer electronics biz. The units come with interface designer Paul Mercer's signature on the back and arrive in gold-leafed boxes. You may remember Paul Mercer from such interfaces as the iPod (he defected to help with the YP line). According to Samsung, these ultimate extravagances are expected to net at least 120,000 Yen ($1,040) each. iLuv is getting promiscuous with their affections this morning with an iLuv Stereo alarm dock for Samsung <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=yepp">Yepp</a> audio devices -- one of, if not <em>the</em> first third-party accessory for Yepps with more on the way according to iLuv's CEO. The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/20/samsungs-yp-t9-reviewed/">Yepp T9B</a> (pictured) is Sammy's <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/07/01/samsungs-yepp-yp-t9-with-bluetooth-hits-fcc/">FCC approved Bluetooth MP3 player</a>; a good choice for display since the iLuv iss277 also features a "Bluepin" Bluetooth dongle to stream audio from the T9 and presumably any Bluetooth enabled device. Otherwise, we're looking at what appears to be pretty much the same "made for iPod" i177 which already played music from any DAP through a line-in jack. However, by connecting through the dock, the Yepp can be charged and integrated into the sleep and wake functions of the alarm clock and controlled via the remote. While it's a bit early to call it a trend, any move towards a universal device dock like that <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/10/12/altec-lansings-m602-made-for-ipod-and-uh-zune/">announced by Altec Lansing</a> is certainly a refreshing change. However, here's a hint for iLuv and others: make the DAP icon (pictured after the break) a bit less iPod'ish next time if you want to keep the peace with your partners. Available in February for 189,000 Korean Won or about $204 when these arrive closer to home.<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/12/01/iluvs-iss277-alarm-dock-for-samsung-yepps-yup-yepps/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>iLuv's iss277 alarm dock for Samsung Yepps: yup, Yepps</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/homeentertainment/" rel="tag">Home Entertainment</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/12/01/iluvs-iss277-alarm-dock-for-samsung-yepps-yup-yepps/">iLuv's iss277 alarm dock for Samsung Yepps: yup, Yepps</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Fri, 01 Dec 2006 09:22:00 EST. It's not like we weren't <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/07/01/samsungs-yepp-yp-t9-with-bluetooth-hits-fcc/">expecting it</a>, but Samsung's Yepp <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=%22yp-t9%22">YP-T9</a> player has finally been spotted in the US, though it's not exactly available yet. Best Buy has the 4GB player up for sale on their online store, but it's "backordered" for a week or two. The $199 pricetag lines up just fine with Apple's 4GB offering, but SanDisk's Sansa undercuts both of those at $179, so Sammy isn't getting any edge there. Luckily, the little player has gotten some decent <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/20/samsungs-yp-t9-reviewed/">review love</a>, and it should be a decent option for those PlaysForSure Luddites that haven't yet jumped onto the hardware/software combo bandwagon, ala Apple, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=zune">Microsoft</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=Rhapsody">Real</a>.<br /><br />[Thanks, Mike]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/10/09/samsung-yp-t9-sneaks-into-the-states/">Samsung YP-T9 sneaks into the States</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 09 Oct 2006 11:48:00 EST. Alright, we've seen it hit the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/07/01/samsungs-yepp-yp-t9-with-bluetooth-hits-fcc/">FCC</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/15/samsungs-4gb-yp-t9-goes-legit-in-china/">China</a> and <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/19/samsungs-yepp-t9-hits-korea/">Korea</a>, but how do we really feel about this new <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=Yepp">Yepp</a> player diving into the already crowded nano-killer space? According to CNET, we feel "Very good." The YP-T9 sounds to be quite tactile and fun to use, with solid buttons, a nice finish and that lovable Adobe Flash interface. CNET found the 1.8-inch 176 x 220 display to be plenty good for a device of this size, but though photos looked sharp and videos played back smoothly, the device only supports the SVI codec, so it'll be a chore getting any video to watch on the tiny screen. As for performance, the player sounds like a winner -- even using the stock earphones -- and the 30 hours of audio playback and 7 hours of video (Samsung promised 6) are some of the best battery life stats going. The player turns out to be quite a worthy successor to the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2005/05/10/samsung-yp-t8-pics-and-specs/">YP-T8</a>, and while it didn't knock the socks off anybody at CNET-land, it should do all right for itself all the same.<br /><br />[Thanks, Pennywise]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/20/samsungs-yp-t9-reviewed/">Samsung's YP-T9 reviewed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 20 Sep 2006 11:59:00 EST. Alright, nothing to see here. <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=Samsung">Samsung</a> is just parading their sexy, Adobe Flash-capable, 1.8-inch screened, 30 hour lastin' and video-playin' <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=t9">Yepp T9</a> all <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/15/samsungs-4gb-yp-t9-goes-legit-in-china/">across Asia</a> with nary a thought for us lowly North Americans. Now they've hit their very own South Korea with the player, and we've got our first sight of pricing: 199,000 won, 239,000 won, and 299,000 won in Korea (for the 1, 2 and 4GB versions respectively), and supposed $180, $220, and $280 US pricetags for whenever it drops here. We're taking those latter prices with a grain of salt, since they're a fair bit off the direct conversion of won to dollar, and the player hasn't actually been announced for the States as far as we know, but we suppose it's better than nothing. So, anyone feeling that purple?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/en/news-12440-Yepp!!%20The%20new%20Samsung%20T9%20DAP%20is%20here!.html">Akihabara</a>]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/19/samsungs-yepp-t9-hits-korea/">Samsung's Yepp T9 hits Korea</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 19 Sep 2006 11:24:00 EST. Looks like <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=Samsung">Samsung</a> has a new one in the works; their YP-T9 <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=DAP">DAP</a> just got its FCC approval and it's looking mighty nice. The <a href="http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=Yepp">Yepp</a> player measures 0.43-inches thick, and weighs a mere 1.7 ounces, but Samsung still managed a few extras. Most notable is the Bluetooth support for using wireless headphones, but there's plenty of other stuff like FM radio, voice recording, MP3/WMA/OGG support, photo and text viewing, and two full color 3D games. You can also play back 15fps videos at a 208 x 176 resolution, be we think we'll pass, thanks. Samsung claims 30 hours of music playback and 7 hours for video, but of course we have no idea as to when Samsung is planning on releasing this thing. Keep reading for more FCC glamour shots.<br /><br />[Thanks, Tuolumne]<p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/07/01/samsungs-yepp-yp-t9-with-bluetooth-hits-fcc/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Samsung's Yepp YP-T9 with Bluetooth hits FCC</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/wireless/" rel="tag">Wireless</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/07/01/samsungs-yepp-yp-t9-with-bluetooth-hits-fcc/">Samsung's Yepp YP-T9 with Bluetooth hits FCC</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Sat, 01 Jul 2006 09:02:00 EST. It also comes in a
sort-of-pinkish color, if you're into that. Since <a
href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/16/samsung-ym-pd1-dmb-pmp-pictures/">we've been following this model</a> for some
time, you'll no doubt recall that it features a 4-inch widescreen TFT display, sports in-line recording to a 20GB hard
drive, and supports a gaggle of formats including MP3, WMA, OGG, AC3, MPEG-4, DivX, XviD, AVI, WMV, JPEG, and BMP. You
can also jack up the memory a bit via the SDIO slot, listen to and record FM radio, and even play some videogames
(although the controls don't look all that well-suited for serious gaming). SamsungHQ spotted the P1 available for
pre-order on Datavision's website at $370 (where "Our prices are too low to advertise!"), although there is
no mention of when the devices will actually be shipping, so don't toss your Archos aside just yet.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portableaudio/" rel="tag">Portable Audio</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/portablevideo/" rel="tag">Portable Video</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2006/04/05/samsungs-ym-p1-20gb-pmp-available-for-pre-order/">Samsung's YM-P1 20GB PMP available for pre-order</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Wed, 05 Apr 2006 22:00:00 EST.
