It wasn't a huge mistake, but the structure that Arrested Development's fourth season used was a bit off-putting for some viewers. Each episode followed the foibles of single members of the Bluth family in a few different timelines, and the early setup for many jokes didn't pay off until much later in the run. To address that, creator Mitch Hurwitz (above left) told Pretentious Film Majors that he's putting together a cut of the Netflix-exclusive episodes that runs in chronological order. A bunch of the laughs came from those punchline-reveals, so how this version shakes out should be pretty interesting to see. Maeby when this hits it'll coincide with the army's next half-day, or, as AV Club guesses, possibly with the upcoming season four box-set. Regardless, don't forget to leave a note with where you'll be watching once it happens.

If you asked Netflix, it'd probably agree there's more money to be had from the Bluth Family's banana stand -- after all, it did buy the exclusive rights to it. After months of waiting and anticipation, the company has confirmed that the fourth season of Arrested Development will arrive in May. This run of the revived sitcom will consist of 14 episodes in total, all of which will only be streamable from the house of Hastings servers. All we can hope for in the meantime is that, Maeby maybe, just maybe, a certain Gob Bluth will finally get his act together.

Captain's Log, Stardate 64884.1... Hello, computer (and players)! Guess what's back? That's right! Hailing frequencies are now reopened -- Captain's Log is no longer on hiatus. Over the past few weeks, there has been some great news released about the Star Trek Online universe: the winner of the Design the Next Enterprise Contest was announced, the May Ask Cryptic was released, the dev team revealed the 500-day veteran rewards, and the Featured Episode reruns began. While everyone has had his or her own opinions on these stories, there is one piece of news that everyone can agree on: the awesomesauceness of the latest Engineering Report. As first announced earlier this week, Executive Producer Dan Stahl dropped his latest report, which describes the updates to the game coming in Season Four. As usual, aside from the imminent new content, Dan foreshadows the future for us. Captain's Log is no stranger to talking about the future of the game, so I am excited to share some more details about the upcoming updates with you. Since Season Four is right around the corner and I believe it will be the "game changing update this game has needed since launch," let's get on to this week's Log entry. Ensign, warp 10! Let's talk about Season 4 and beyond...

  • Will there be a Season 5?

With Season 4 coming in two weeks, and the gear from said season meant to be at Sunwell complexity, it makes me wonder if we're going to see another season before Wrath of the Lich King... or if we'll see another season at all. After all, the Arena Season system isn't the only way to work the arenas.Presumably pretty much the entire World of Warcraft deign team is working on Wrath now. So it's extremely unlikely that we'll see Season 5 before it ships. It took from the end of November to the end of June to go from Season 3 to Season 4, so it's not as if there isn't plenty of life in the season to come. If it lasts as long as the previous season did, you could easily avoid new arena content for seven months. This seems to point directly to the idea that there won't be a new season until Wrath. However, we know we're going to have Lake Wintergrasp and a new battleground (perhaps even one based on Defense of the Ancients) which means it's possible that Blizzard has taken a serious look at PvP and how the arena works. Perhaps at long last the anti-warrior bias of the arenas will be corrected! (That's a joke. Try and breathe there.) Perhaps they'll implement the long desired 'neutral gear' option, where you have a changing room with all the same gear for all sides so that skill and skill alone decides who wins. Perhaps they'll rethink how points are earned. They could change team sizes (4x4?) or even add Arena Battleground play, where two arena teams have to hunt each other through much larger maps, giving hunters a leg up.What changes do you expect to arenas? Do you expect any at all?
