WoW Moviewatch: Pugbreaker
Davixxa created this video from SilverLetomi's parody, Pugbreaker. It's an interesting mix of in-game graphics and manipulated images. It's not very often that you get to see a parody video these days (that fad's mostly over) but Pugbreaker is a decent return to that genre. While Jin'do feels a little behind us for a fresh video, I guess the figh inspired enough rage in Silver and Davixxa that this video needed to be made. Hatred for an annoying boss rings eternal. It's a new patch, a new expansion looms, and everything's crazy. Crazy! Well, reader Taitrina spotted this video on YouTube and felt like it was perfect for today. I have to say I agree. Oh, certainly, we've covered Play Your Class previously, and we're no stranger to the dulcet tones of Silver Letomi. But while we're all busy mourning the lack of paladin auras and the old talent system, Play Your Class definitely feels like it hits the right nostalgic spot. WoW Moviewatch: Hallow's End (Is Calling)
This video was actually released back in October. Wakagana created the video while Silver Letomi and Wick are responsible for the song. While we're obviously nowhere near the season now, Hallow's End (Is Calling) is absolutely worth an off-season watch. This is an amazing video with a gorgeous song. It's a haunting, subtly occult-sounding song with a driving, building beat. The contrast of Letomi's gentle, high-pitched singing against the rhythmic progression is compelling, and the controlled use of crescendo lends the music an epic feel.
