Monetizing your mobile phone app is all well and good, but there's a certain category of apps that should really just charge upfront. This message has been brought to you by Rescue Dogs 3D -- in theaters Friday. Video after the break.

You know, one day we hope to be as rich as those cats at Mega 64. The troupe's latest video -- an alarming look at one of the PSP Go's lesser-known features (courtesy of IGN) -- shows us just how stacked with loot these guys really are nowadays. We're not going to give the ending away, but let's just say the whole thing is a fine way to burn a neat stack of Benjamins. In the end, it's alright -- we bet they got paid a lot more than $300 for their work.Head past the break to check out the video. If you need us, we'll be eating some ramen and freezing to death in our apartment we can't afford to heat.

  • Even Mexico loves Mario parody skits

Anywhere you go in the world, you'll find people who love Mario. On the national Mexican television show, Hazme reír! y serás millonario, a group of three friends performed a Mario skit parodying / reenacting the original Super Mario Bros. It's a cute little routine with some hilarious moments, though it's not entirely accurate (fanboys will likely point out that the actual Mario does not kick enemies, he stomps on them ... and since when did Mario start dressing in Peach's colors, hmm?). Still, it's an impressive thing to do, especially since it was broadcast across an entire country. Interestingly, the crowd was pretty into it, rooting on the overalls-clad hero as he took down Bowser and saved the princess. Oh, wait, or was she in another castle? You'll have to watch the video clip after the break to find out! [Via Go Nintendo]

  • The trials and tribulations of Dr. Wily

We love playing Mega Man games, especially on our DSes (both officially and unofficially). Awesome skits like this just make us yearn even more for a classic Blue Bomber title, though, as the original Rockman is the one we fell in love with.Despite our wishes and wants, we really enjoyed this hilarious take on the Mega Man series by Old Rich People. We couldn't help but laugh at Dr. Wily and all the hoops he has to go through just to kill our favorite robot. Oh, and the ending? Priceless. We expect a DS homebrew version of the game to be made asap. (Not really.)[Via Destructoid]

  • TurpsterVision: An Episode of Great Impotence

Every Tuesday think "T" for Turpster and take the "a" in "day", capitalise it, remove the little bit in the middle, turn it upside down and you get a "V". Put the two together and you'll have TV for TurpsterVision -- the best Internet video podcast on Massively! (Never mind that business about it being the only video podcast on Massively...)It's that time of the week again folks! For some people out there they have been going through withdraw symptoms since my absence on this week's WoW Insider Show. Have no fear, for Super Turpster is here! I have tried to make it up to you guys, even though my schedule is whooping my butt. Thanks to all the folks from last week who voted Bard, you all win a "Turpster-Patented-Internet-High-Five".I find it very tough in this job to ever be fair to an MMO; I only get a week to play it and produce the review. It's always tough to get a sense of how fantastic it is past the starting zone. That in mind, I do urge all of you out there to try every MMO you can get your hands on. There is so much more out there than just World of Warcraft (Blasphemy I hear you scream!) Then again on Massively I feel like I am preaching to the choir!Enjoy the show this week; it was a close shave getting it up in time...in more ways than one! (Join us after the break to find out if Turpster is really allowed to make such horrid innuendo.)

Today's vid is from last night's Video Game Awards on Spike TV. Granted, the awards themselves were pretty lackluster and boring, but this motion capture skit was one of the funniest things from the whole show. It's about time we learned about the more glamorous jobs in the industry, like this guy's. Check it out after the jump. Say what you will, but the guy has balls (hey, you saw that one coming a million miles away).

It's always nice to see Apple parodies, especially when they: a) have nothing to do with an existing product, or specifically: the iPod, and b) are from the mid-90's. This is a decent SNL spoof that quickly rose up the digg ranks yesterday evening, parodying a fictitious Apple product that's a bit too much disposable overkill for its own good. Enjoy.[via digg]

Some more late-night silliness as the empty coffee cups pile up and finals draw nearer. Someone set this thing to music on YTMND, please. Preferably, "Don't Fear the Wiiper," in homage to the classic SNL skit from whence this iconic and holy animation descended and blessed the internets. [Update 1: that didn't take long at all.] [Thanks, Allen; via Revolution Report]

  • Quite possibly the best internet skit ever

I love Olde English. Apart from the fact that 40% of the homepage's area is dedicated to images of beer, their funny videos are a perfect blend of student humor and stupidity. Probably the best video on the site is their Gym Class skit, a clever satire of multiplayer first person shooters. Watch as a group of friends proceed to mercilessly shoot each other with imaginary machine guns, rifles and handguns, just like a FPS. Then laugh as the winner claps and says "good game", just like a FPS.If you liked that then check out Hello? Fuck! otherwise known as "waking up with a hangover and trying to find the phone." Before you ridicule me for its lack of relation to gaming hear this! At least two game consoles have some screen time in this video, so as Phoenix Wright would say, "TAKE THAT!"Also, as you've probably already guessed, these videos are NSFW.[Thanks, Greg Gant]
