Just Dance Kids 2014 will launch on October 22, Ubisoft announced today. As the fourth game in the Just Dance Kids series, this year's version will include 30 songs ranging from One Direction's "One Thing" to the Fraggle Rock TV show's opening theme song. Ubisoft provided a partial list of songs included in the game, which can be found after the break if you are morbidly curious. The game includes an Xbox 360-exclusive "Just Create" mode, in which players use Kinect to assemble music videos using their own choreographed moves. Just Dance Kids 2014 also features a Wii U-only Dance Director mode, which allows one player to select dance moves for other players to perform. The game will launch on Wii U, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3.

[Update: Gamespy has a post with the official, tiered, in-game rankings for each song and instrument.]If you're anything like us, you've been gearing up for Rock Band 2 by poring through the track list and carefully studying YouTube performance clips of the songs to gain an edge in your own virtual rocking. But staring at grainy video is only so useful for determining which songs are really going to put blisters on your fingers (and uh, vocal chords). Luckily, IGN has come through with a set of comprehensive difficulty rankings, for all 84 RB2 songs, ranked by individual instrument and as a full band. We're not entirely sure where IGN's rankings are coming from -- we can only assume they're based on the difficulty rankings provided by Harmonix (don't ask us how ties are broken). That said, based on our extensive knowledge of all things rock, it seems pretty accurate -- any group that can pass Judas Priest's Painkiller on Expert without turning on No Fail Mode should just start a real band already.

The Band Brothers DX website lists all the jammable tracks available in the rhythm title, including both downloadable and in-game songs. Since the list is in Japanese, we did our best to translate (read: search the internet for a translation), which we've posted after the break. For classical music lovers (like this blogger), the in-game song list is like a piece of cake wrapped in brownie batter. Everyone else may be a wee bit disappointed, though, as the tracks only include five J-pop songs among a plethora of Mozart and the like. To keep it interesting, the classical songs are remixed in different styles, like tango, Eurobeat, pop, jazz, and more. Some unique combinations include a reggae version of Beethoven's "Pathétique Sonata" and a Famicom version of Schubert's "The Trout" (click here and here to listen to them in their original classical styles). The list of downloadable songs is much more J-poppy, however, offering tracks like "Flavor of Life" by Utada Hikaru, which is the recurring theme of J-drama Hana Yori Dango. There are also a handful of anime songs to help tickle your J-fetish.If you want to see both of the translated song lists for Band Brothers DX, just click on past the break. Gallery: Band Brothers DX
