In this little hobby of ours, there are undeniable classics. Only an utterly clueless fanboy will ignore Shigeru Miyamoto's contributions to gaming, and any Nintendo enthusiast can never deny the quality of a series like Halo or God of War. No matter the platform, there are games which make up the foundation of this medium as we've come to know it. Traditionally, the formula would seem to be game made by a respectable company + a few years to let it sink in = indisputable classic. Yet there are a few that still provoke debate. These are games that are neither universally adored nor hated. They almost always spark conversation, and are considered by some to be an acquired taste. Here are the Top 5 games that we all can't decide if they're classics or not. According to a news article on CVG, the latest issue of the UK's Edge Magazine contains mention of Microsoft-owned developer, Rare, working on a new and original Xbox Live Arcade title. Holding the reins of the mostly mysterious steed is one Nick Burton, who was previously involved with Starfox Adventures and the more recent Kameo: Elements of Power. Burton is collaborating with a team of ten others on the unnamed game which may or may not feature disturbingly proportioned, anthropomorphic characters.

StarFox Command, the newly renamed DS adventure featuring Arwings, anthropomorphic pilots and gratutious amounts of spinning is now set to release on 28 August 2006. Apart from maneuvering through 3D landscapes and blasting enemy ships to smithereens, you'll be able to draw routes on the bottom screen for your teammates to follow as they assist you in taking over enemy bases. We assume that's where the "Command" part comes in.As for Nintendo Wi-Fi, up to 4 players can duke it out online, with a more impressive number of 8 being relegated to local wireless play. As Falco would say, "How swell." [Thanks Redfield! I hope this isn't your blood.]
