Square Enix reveals Star Galaxy browser MMO
Square Enix has taken the wraps off of Star Galaxy, a new browser-based sci-fi MMO that supports up to 2,000 players on a single battlefield. Gameplay focuses around managing resources, infrastructure, and power sources in order to expand bases and conquer various planets. Navigator characters bridge the gap between battles and the title's simulation/strategy aspects. Combat happens via cards that represent units and gain both levels and skills. While there's no release date as of yet, Siliconera reports that the game's Japanese beta begins on December 20th. Square has released a brief teaser trailer that you can view after the break.
