Crysis 3's main man is a crack shot with a bow, apparently
Guys! Guys! Can you imagine if that Crysis 3 nanosuit dude is actually just Ted Nugent on a wild bow hunting spree after civilization collapses? That's the Crysis 3 we want to play. Don't you? Take a peek at the gallery below and get all up in this crazy headspace we've got going this morning.
Ted Nugent joins Guitar Hero World Tour
Theodore Nugent's politics might prevent him from being universally celebrated, but there's no denying the man's a virtuoso of the six-stringed axe -- dare we say, a "guitar hero." (Fun factoid: He does it all sober!) Nugent's accomplishments on stage have earned him a spot in the World Tour, where he joins Jimi, Ozzy and Sting as featured acts. Of course, Nugent spilled the beans months ago, but Activision made his appearance official today, along with his hit "Stranglehold." Peep the magic of mocap (it can even reverse aging, you know) as Nugent saddles up on his pet buffalo in the debut trailer after the break.
Guitar Hero contains a rich layer of Nugent
Another classic rock icon will appear as a weird, exaggerated 3D model in Guitar Hero: World Tour, though the transition should be easier for this one since he's a weird, exaggerated person in real life. Ted Nugent, menace to deer, right-wing radio host and, oh, also world-class musician, will appear as a guitar duel participant in World Tour. Players will be able to face off in duels, or play as the Nuge. In addition, the classic "Stranglehold" has been added to the roster of playable songs. Is Guitar Hero going to go further down the "classic rock" track to compete with Rock Band? Except ... Rock Band also has a bunch of classic rock.%Gallery-23491%
Ted Nugent has a role in Guitar Hero IV
Ted Nugent had something of interest to say regarding fans of the Guitar Hero franchise. During a recent radio interview, The Nuge dropped the bomb that he has been working with the folks behind Guitar Hero IV (he doesn't exactly say it's the fourth installment, but we're pretty sure he isn't talking about Guitar Hero Aerosmith) and will be featured in the game. You can hear it all right here (around 12:30 is when he starts talking about it).He had a lot of things to say about the whole mo-cap process, as well as his inability to actually play the game, despite his ability to set real frets on fire. Our favorite part of the interview? He said he had to do "a variation of Stranglehold." Man, we love that song.In fact, let's go ahead and embed it past the post break. Rock out with us, won't you?
