"Justice is coming to Tamriel," according to ZeniMax's latest website notice. It's probably more accurate to say that criminality is coming to Tamriel, though. More specifically, Elder Scrolls Online's upcoming Update 6 features the justice system which will enable your avatar to participate in a variety of underhanded activities including murder and thievery. The latter involves relieving hapless NPCs of their valuables while avoiding those pesky town guards, and the former involves assaulting and even killing AI citizens. At some point you'll end up with a bounty on your head, which in turns affects how guards react to your presence. Click through the links below to read the rest of the details.

The Repopulation transitioned into its second alpha test last month, and the team has a quite detailed report about all of the tweaks and features that it added to the game during that period. While there's a lot of everything in the patch notes, Rogues got a big piece of the attention pie. Above and Beyond Technologies reported that it improved the quality of life for Rogue characters through a number of changes. The thievery mechanic got an upgrade, pick-pocketing got several missions, and containers got stubbornly locked. As an aside, there are six stealthed Rogues in the above picture. See if you can spot them! Other changes to the game for the second alpha test include mission chains, random missions, 70 new crafting recipes, two new generic den types, and an overhaul of the reputation system.

In what might be irrationally described as a wave, rash, flood, or deluge, two separate cases of utter and complete phone theft have cropped up this week. The first concerns $8.2-million worth of T-Mobile handsets which apparently have disappeared from one of the company's warehouses. According to an internal email sent to dealers, someone made off with 36,000 phones (most of which were Sidekicks), and the telco is now in the process of tracking the devices via IMEIs in hopes of getting back the lost goods. In other thievery news, two potential Darwin Award World Stupidity Award recipients plotted to steal 300 iPhones destined for Hong Kong right off of the truck that they were delivering them on. Following the heist, the men quit their delivery jobs, purchased diamond-studded Yankee earrings and matching cars, and then were promptly apprehended when the hastily-wrapped reams of paper they sent instead of the phones were spotted in Cathay. Gold-plated hats off to you, gentlemen.[Thanks, Paul B]Read - T-Mobile gets jacked, around $8.2M in phones vanished like a David Copperfield actRead - Two Baldwin men arrested in stolen iPhone caper

What is it with people demanding new gen consoles at gunpoint? A Blockbuster video in the UK was recently robbed. A young man held up the two female store clerks at gunpoint, demanding that they give him a Playstation 3. Upon informing him that they didn't stock the console, he settled for an Xbox 360 instead. He also swiped several Xbox 360 games on the way out as well as money from the register. No one was injured, though it took the police 20 minutes to arrive because they were directed to the wrong Blockbuster.Frankly, we probably would have asked for a Wii. Seriously, those things are hard to find.[Thanks, slimbloke]

Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but blatant copying is the work of a jerk. We try to service the PSP and gaming fan community and if other game sites or message boards post or discuss what we've put up on this site, that's incredibly cool, so long as they link to us, or at least give us credit. An IGN poster however decided to copy and paste one of my articles and pretend it was entirely his words and topic idea. While I appreciate the conversation it spawned, I don't care for the thievery. Andrew and I work hard to try and make this the ultimate site for PSP owners and if you read the site and like the posts enough to post or discuss them elsewhere, please give us the deserved credit. And while you're at it, give a hoot and don't pollute. [Via IGN boards]
