In honor of yesterday's "Trogday" observances (honoring the day that Strong Bad brought Trogdor the Burninator to life, in all his majesty), Telltale has announced that Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is now playable by those who only have Macs in their thatched-roof cottages. THATCHED-ROOF COTTAGEEEEEEEEES! Until January 20, the Mac and PC versions will be on sale for the same burninating price as the PSN release: $15 for the whole season. After that, they'll go back up to $30, which is still cheaper than the original WiiWare price of $10 per episode (there are five). You can use that beefy arm coming out of the back of your neck to click over to the product page on Telltale Games and save some money now.

  • Telltale giving away Trogdor-themed episode of Strong Bad today

Happy Trogday, everybody! What? It's definitely a government-sanctioned holiday, steeped in tradition, and celebrated by millions of peoples across the globe. Telltale wouldn't make something like this up, just to help sell its adventure series Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, which has been temporarily discounted to $19.99 (when added to the cart). It's a real, legitimate holiday, based on an ancillary character from a popular web cartoon. Jeez. Maybe read an encyclopedia, sometime. Following in the honored Trogday custom, Telltale has a present for you: The fifth chapter of SBCG4AP, titled 8-Bit is Enough, for free. Appropriately, this particular chapter is very Trogdor-centric -- but we find it difficult to get excited about that. We only have room for one Trogdor-based game in our hearts, and that game is Peasant's Quest. Why not dust off the ol' Videlectrix Diskbooter, and give it a spin?

Look at all that majesty. Telltale sent a screen to Wired of the fifth episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, featuring what may be the beefy-armiest sight yet for the downloadable episodic adventure game series: TROGDOR! Defying all known limits of the awesomeness that can be safely produced by a video game system, this image seems to show Trogdor the Burninator, who was a man -- I mean, he was a dragon-man ... or maybe he was just a dragon ... taking a starring role in Strong Bad Episode 5. What a way to end the series.

The Homestar Runner crew has added to its Viidelectrix lineup with two new titles: Trogdor! and Duck Guardian One. Viidelectrix's ported flash games are formatted and designed to be played on the Wii's Internet Channel. These retro-styled titles often feature Homestar Runner regulars like Strong Bad and The Cheat. Trogdor! stars the site's beefy-armed dragon on a quest to stomp peasants and burn down villages. This release takes advantage of recent Wiimote API advances, enabling gamers to use the directional pad and all of the buttons on their controllers. Duck Guardian One employs the standard point-and-click controls, but has you fighting for a nobler cause. With the help of various rays, you are in charge of protecting a traveling group of ducks from bombs, robot heads, and other everyday hazards.Perhaps this Viidelectrix release of Trogdor! means that an upcoming port of Peasant's Quest can't be too far off? We hope so![Via Wii Rally]

  • Nyko's Intercooler may burninate the Xbox 360

Nyko's Intercooler for the Xbox 360 causes more trouble than it's worth, according to Microsoft representative contacted by Elektriq. The problem is its construction: the Intercooler steals some of the power originating from the supply, decreasing the joules the console actually receives to inadequate levels. One representative even reported that the Intercooler has caused "scorch marks" on the console. For those who simply must have a cooling accessory, one Microsoft representative suggested the Pelican Fan Stand, whose power comes from a USB input. Microsoft does not make a first-party cooling unit, although you're more than welcome to throw the console in the freezer in between play sessions.* * Joystiq does not recommend putting a console in the freezer and can only promise to laugh at you in the event you do heed our ridiculous non-advice.[Via Xbox 360 Fanboy]

No sooner did we let y'all know that DethKlok, the fictional band in Adult Swim's Metalocalypse, would be making an appearance as an unlockable bonus track in Guitar Hero II, than we found out the entire bonus song list ... 24 tracks in total! It appears certain Wal-Marts, depending on how many copies of Guitar Hero they sold, have demo kiosks with the sequel set up and ready to rock! Twenty-four low-res pictures later, we know the entire list of unlockable songs. Combine those with the forty tracks already confirmed, and you've got yourself quite the rock feast.A notable addition: Popular Flash cartoon -- and Nintendo Tag Team Wrestling alum -- Strong Bad's metal/dragon opus Trogdor (The Burninator). Check out the video -- and the entire 64-track setlist -- after the break, then play the Trogdor game, to hone up on your burninating.[Thanks, notafan]
