OK -- this is getting serious now. A few people have dropped me a line suggesting that I start editing, pixellating, or blocking out parts of the image to increase Where in Warcraft's difficulty. This is the last one I'm going to try before I do that. My congratulations to Sillon, who was the second responder to my last picture and the first to guess it correctly. I followed his directions and they led me exactly to the spot, which was in Deadwind Pass. I tip my hat to you, sir. If today's image is guessed within a few moments like its predecessors, I'm moving to picture editing. This is a cool little statue, looking something like a naga version of the Hindu god Vishnu surrounded by a rounded throwing weapon, kind of looking like something you see wielded by NPCs in certain areas. But that's all extraneous information! The question is: Where in Warcraft is it? EDIT: And I have to belatedly add: thanks very much to Prey (Perenolde) for the picture! You know the rules: I have to be able to find my way to this location with your instructions. I'm also adding a new rule to avoid situations like we had a while ago: Your guess must be in a new comment thread, not a reply to another post. Otherwise, it's impossible for me to know who guessed first. That leads to unfair decisions, and nobody likes those. There's so much in Azeroth (and Outland!) just waiting to be found. Tip us off. If you've found a fabulously quirky landmark, hidden treasure, or special hideaway somewhere in Warcraft, drop me a line at olivia@wowinsider.com with your screenshot. You could be featured in a future edition of Where in Warcraft!

Yesterday's "Where Am I?" screenshot contest marked another successful week with several players throwing out that correct answer. What was that correct answer? If you're one of the few who answered Brandoc Village in Lacheish Plains, not only are you a dedicated Age of Conan player, but you were also in the running for the prize this week.Congrats goes out to a reader by the name of AP MCBZ who was randomly selected from the small pool of correct answers to win themselves a special in-game code that unlocks all bonus virtual items in the game. This includes the War Mammoth, Snow Mammoth, Killer Rhino, Ring of Acheron, Bag of Holding, Drinking Cape, Amazonian Bow and the Totem of Origins.Look for another challenging contest next Thursday with more prizes to win!

Yesterday's "Where Am I?" screenshot contest ended in another win for a lucky (and skilled) Massively reader. This time we improved the rules a bit by having participants email their answers and the winner was chosen randomly from those correct submissions. So congratulations goes out to Derella for the correct answer this week. The screenshot was taken in Free Realms, right at the gate to the Croaking Vale instance. Only a handful of you got that right, while dozens copied the wrong answer from the comments. The prize this time was a Sony Station Cash card, so we hope Derella spends it wisely! Join us next Thursday for another challenging edition of "Where Am I?".

Yesterday, we began a new screenshot contest here at Massively where we display a certain in-game image from a certain MMO, and you tell us the specific location and game of the shot. Even though we mentioned how easy this first one was in the post, we never anticipated it would be answered correctly within the first 6 minutes! So congratulations goes out to Mordredis for that correct answer. The screenshot was taken in Runes of Magic's Aslan Valley, just north of the town of Silverfall. The bridge here is very distinctive, which gave away the location quite easily for any Runes of Magic fan. Mordredis will win a full set of the brand new Vermillion Warrior's armor that several sites are giving away piece by piece, much like the Jade Warrior set from last month. Will we be giving away any of these pieces ourselves? There's a very good possibility, so keep your eyes on the site this weekend!Next week we plan to offer a bit more of a challenge, with proceeding weeks fluctuating between easy and difficult, depending on the prize. Each time will be fun and rewarding though, so don't miss "Where Am I?" every Thursday afternoon.
