WoW Moviewatch: Epic gryphons on crack
This video is pretty short, and is just for the purpose of showing off what those of you who haven't been on the test realms are missing. I'm sure this'll get patched any day now, but seeing an epic gryphon freak out is just something you should do at some point in this world (of Warcraft). As you can see, the bug only happens when you fly forward for more than a couple seconds; strafing or hovering doesn't have the same graphical glitch. Still, seeing my bird behaving like this makes me wonder if it really was worth that pile of gold. After all, I don't even have that many miles on it! Sometimes you have to admire the sheer maliciousness of WoW players. This is a classic "PVP" video from the Goon Squad guild on Mal'Ganis, famed for holding the Theramore flightmaster hostage. The Goon Squad warlock Dipex formed an "Azeroth Airlines" guild solely for the purposes of summoning people to their deaths. The general focus is summoning over cliffs, but the video also features summons over a waterfall, over the edge of Felwood, and down the Undercity elevator. In 2.1, once reaching exalted with the Sha'tari Skyguard, it will be possible to get a brand-new type of flying mount: a nether ray! Pretty nifty, if you ask me; I was just recently lamenting the lack of flying mount variety. But what does it look like? Peep the video, friends! (For those who do not wish to peep it: its flying motions look pretty much exactly like the nether rays mobs in the game.) I wonder how hard that rep is going to be to grind...Props to Fibb, of Burning Blade, for making this.And I know I always talk about the music in these videos, but...why does every WoW vid have to be set to hard rock or metal?
