The thing to remember when you're watching Freakazoid is that trying to make sense out of the nonsensical is an exercise in futility. The thing to remember with the new Raid Finder is that expecting organization and efficiency is also an exercise in futility. Embrace the nonsense and you'll love Freakazoid; embrace the chaos and you'll love the Raid Finder. Today, we've got a few more posts from around the blogosphere discussing the joys of the Raid Finder feature. Rank 4 Healing Touch has a wonderful guide on guiding your PUG to victory. WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. Darkmoon Faire is pretty cool, but the music on the island is absolutely amazing. Though some are grumbling about the length of time it's going to take to grind out tickets, one thing's for certain -- this isn't going to be content that you can blow through and subsequently get tired of in two weeks' time. On the other end of the spectrum, the blogosphere's been abuzz with chatter about Raid Finder exploits and those who've taken advantage. Today, we've got a few posts that address both! Priest With A Cause shares some first impressions on the various features and personalities of Darkmoon Island. Gauss' Adventures in World of Warcraft highlights what was done about Raid Finder exploiting. Flavor Text plays devil's advocate with a fascinating piece in defense of exploiting. WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. One week into patch 4.3, and my raid guild is already 7/8 in normal mode 25-man content. Keep in mind, we aren't really one of those hardcore progression guilds; you could probably get away with calling us semi-hardcore. Three nights a week of raiding isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things. It seems a bit odd that we're so far through the raid already, but at the same time, it's normal mode content. Speaking of Dragon Soul, today we've got a collection of posts from around the blogosphere discussing the latest raid to hit the world of Warcraft. Dwarven Battle Medic shares some first impressions with the Dragon Soul raid. Jinxed Thoughts has some thoughts and impressions of every encounter in the raid. Falling Leaves and Wings dispels a few myths about raiders and offers a brief and simple guide to killing Yor'Shaj in the new Raid Finder. Blessing of Kings thinks that Dragon Soul is correctly tuned, at least from the 25-man normal mode perspective. Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. Let's take a break from all the patch 4.3 commentary. Well ... sort of. Today I've got three very different sort of posts from around the blogosphere that talk about an assortment of subjects. While two discuss 4.3 in a roundabout kind of way, the third is a long look into the nature of corruption and the various corruption-themed story arcs in WoW. All three are pretty insightful, that's for certain! Sheep the Diamond discusses the nature of time travel in fiction, particularly in WoW. Herding Cats talks about the fine line between too easy and too difficult when it comes to heroics. Parallel Context takes a look at the Burning Legion and the cycle of corruption in WoW. Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today. It's late (early?) and I'm tired, so I'm just using Fox's WRUP header for today's Queue header. Deal with it. jaymccowan13 asked: On top of Wyrmrest Temple, why is Kalecgos the only one without a title in his name? Normally, one gets a title from doing something of note, and Kalecgos hasn't done much yet as Aspect of Magic. Nor will he apparently have the opportunity to! Womp, womp.

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. One of the highlights of the new 5-man heroics was hearing Illidan affirm the fact that yes, I was prepared. We dug up a few posts from around the blogosphere with some first impressions of the patch, the raid, and more. Priest With A Cause shares some first impressions of the new heroics, void storage, and transmogrification. The Grumpy Elf is actually not grumpy at all about the new Raid Finder feature. WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. Patch 4.3 has a ton of really lovely new music. If you've never seen Illegal Danish before, man, you are missing out. It was one of the first machinima I ever watched, and it's still just as funny years later. Speaking of things from years ago, Blog Azeroth had a shared topic suggested by Mia over at the Chronicles of Mia that posed a good question: If you could bring back any feature of WoW from days gone by, what would that be? Here are a few bloggers with some answers to the question. Harpy's Nest has a few suggestions from the good old days, including same-server AV matches. Jaded Alt thinks first aid and bandages have fallen into disuse and wishes they'd be more useful. Anuillae's Analytical Assertions confesses a longing for days of old and portals to anywhere. There's a reason I don't do Arenas: Because I am 100% fully aware that this is not and will most likely never be a strong suit for me. My idea of PvP on my rogue is Run in screaming my fool head off, spam Fan of Knives, desperately hope there is a healer behind me. Rather than bang my head against the wall, I will continue quietly stepping out of the way and letting other far more capable people do the PvP. And there are a heck of a lot of capable people out there, too. Let's check out a few posts from around the blogosphere about PvP and the upcoming end to the Arena season. Cynwise's Battlefield Manual talks about the end of this season and what PvPers should do to prepare for the next. Healer Aggro shares some thoughts on PvP from a discipline priest's perspective. 11.14.2011

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. My very first character ever back in vanilla WoW was a druid. I loved the class, even though it took me a while to get the hang of it. But once the whole aspect of being able to shift in and out of various forms to survive darn near anything kicked in, I was relatively unstoppable. I switched from Alliance to Horde after hitting level 60, and from druid to priest. But I still loved druids, and I loved raiding with them. One of the top druids in my vanilla raiding guild was simply brilliant; he was a healer, but he'd swap between forms all the time if there was something he could do to help. And that was the druid class to me, in a nutshell -- the extreme versatility of being able to do just about anything because you could simply shift forms. I loved it. I still love it, and I have two druid alts, though I rarely play them these days (not enough time in the day). There've been some pretty interesting conversations around the blogosphere about the state of druids in the upcoming expansion, however, well worth reading. Falling Leaves and Wings points out exactly what the resto druid community is concerned about. Restokin has a two-part post detailing what exactly is wrong with having a melee moonkin. Tree Heals Go Woosh calmly tells druids not to panic. In large, friendly letters. Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Today we've got some posts from around the blogosphere discussing gear inflation and proposed solutions. Jinxed Thoughts ponders the idea of just ditching the value-based stat system. WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. Finding a Monday song on Monday's edition of TDQ meant that I felt like finding a Wednesday song for today. Don't worry, Rebecca Black will not be making any appearances in this column, I swear. Anyway, I found this mellow number from Simon and Garfunkel, because Wednesdays are pretty mellow for me, generally speaking. Speaking of mellow, we're taking a step back from the panda-monium for a breather and relaxing with some nice Hallow's End screenshots and posts from around the blogosphere. Elfi's World serves up a collection of Hallow's End screenshots highlighting the holiday. Red Cow Rise also has a giant helping of Hallow's End screenshots. I love Hallow's End. It's such a visual holiday. Kamalia Et Alia shows off a collection of various in-game costumes from Hallow's End festivities.
