The z520i has a 101x80 exterior color screen. From the pictures at Pocket Israel, this model looks like it's packing only a 96x24 monocrome screen on its outside.

The z520 has one of the biggest exterior screens I've seen for a clamshell. It's one of the reasons I chose it over the RAZR.

When somebody calls, you can set it so that the phone displays their image on the exterior screen, before you flip it open to answer the call. With the 101x80 resolution yumminess, their picture looks great.

So why can't Sony Ericsson come up with a real upgrade to the z520? One that adds features, instead of taking them away?

cows

Comments on Sony Ericsson's Z610i says hello

Nothing special, the 2MP cam and 262K color is almost becoming a norm in the mobile phones market.
