If you notice, people are getting the 8gb model on ebay for UNDER $600, sans tax. In the case of the iPhone they seem to be enforcing it and I can think of one REALLY good reason for this:<br><br>Ebay<br><br>Every major gadget launch in the last couple of years has been plagued by speculators buying as many units as possible to make a quick buck. From Apple's point of view why should they give someone a risk-free approach to make money re-selling their products?<br><br>And I've gotta say, I don't understand why someone would be returning an iPhone for reasons of cash (or lack thereof). FWIW, I side with Mr. Prasand.<br><br>A little anecdote: A few years ago, I was a virgin, you see. I was nice and respectful, and I was the type to, like our friend Core 2 Duo, perhaps say someone should get off the computer if they think a small image of a lady on Engadget is hot.<br><br>Then I found a nice girlfriend, and we... did that thing that boys and girls do. And we did it a lot. And now I tend to think like Prasand does. The moral of the story is this: making comments like that doesn't make you a loser who spends too much time on the computer.
