Actually, it says the radio is tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900, and that you can stick in either 2G/3G sim cards from the local carriers. Thus it doesn't seem like it actually has 3G...just that a 3G sim card will work on it (as Taiwanese 3G carriers all support 2G as well).
