No SkypeOut? This make no sense at all, why can't I make SkypeOut call and pay regular cell minute and the addtional SkypeOut minute? As for SkypeIn, you can get it on any phone by setting the call forwarding on your Skype.
Can you defeat this by maintaining two Skype accounts, using account B to forward to you desire number (which charges you regular SkypeOut fee) and then use account A to call B for free?
There is no Skype out for obvious reasons- it would be a call at no charge to the customer but 3 would have to pay to route the call to a landline. Just use the mobile phone side of the phone with the 40 million free minutes you'd have to make normal calls.
Also I do not think the nokia handsets currently support Skype IM chat, and also Skype calling name - both of which work on the Amoi Skype phone. Also the reason this came out is because people are too dumb to put 3rd party clientso n handsets - this way it's all integrated and much mroe accessible to the normal user. Funnily enough the peak for these and other Skype phones on 3 is in the middle of the night as people are using them to make lots of international calls, for essentially nothing.
Dias - thats for pikey poor people on pay as you go handsets. if you have a contract it's included.
I helped put the network in for this so its nice to see it getting some press... even if it is stateside where it will never appear :)
