Then they will argue that well most of the time it's true, if you want to call them out on it.  Regardless of the fact that they would indeed by wrong here, and most of the time doesn't equate to all the time.  Anyways, the breakdown is usually this, touchscreen peripherals = ripoff of Apple iphone/touch, rectangular case with circular controls = ripoff of ipod classic.  Sometimes, even when Apple ripoffs other people's idea, if those people being ripoff continues to use their idea, they are ripping off Apple.  Case being Sony's notebook with the depressed latch(being the first to use it), engadget argues that the notebook was an Apple ripoff because of that.
