I was biased towards the Zune from the start, up until I got it for Christmas. Yes there are stupid things about it such as the limited video formats it can take and issues with media rights on video files, fact that it can't by default be used as an external HDD...but to have an alternative to ipod is quite the escape! Batteries vary in quality and some bad ones eventually get out. Just because it doesn't happen on your Zune doesn't mean it is impossible. It is certainly possible that some bad batteries got into some Zunes.

David

Comments on Zune screens cracking from battery pressure?

My Zune screen got a crack in it when I accidently threw my WiiMote at it playing a game.
