Considering I was able to run Vista on my Mac Pro with no issues using the current release BootCamp, it's highly unlikely this is true. Even if they needed to support drivers for more Mac models, I don't think there's a problem that would push this out. Leopard just isn't yet at the point of stability or just plain being finished yet, according to what I've heard with the Developer seeds.
Even my drivers CD for XP worked in Vista with a bit of tweaking (read: extracting) - my Macbook Pro core duo hummed along nicely in Vista.. until I realised what a piece of poop Vista actually is :]
