I've seen this. My second unit started having a green tint to the images. A day later all video output is gone, sound still works. I have to call Microsoft, I imagine I'll have to send it inyet again.
From the way it sounds it could just be the HD cords goin bad.. Very Possible.. Esp. with your green tint... play around with a Y-Pb-Pr set of cables and you can see what I mean..

It's the system. I tried the regular cables, composite, and component and no video. I used another 360 and my cables are fine with it.
Forgot to mention I was using the VGA cable when it first started happening.
