I think XP will run happily on it except for the display resolution. 800 pixels wide is just not enough for a modern, non-optimised desktop environment (try changing your desktop to 800-600). Maybe the built in linux distro allows for this, but Windows XP and most websites certainly don't.

The OQO, a really annoying to use UMPC thing which you've probably heard of has an 800x480 screen. It works, but it sucks to use.
