TV Squad dug up a story about TV Week's Critics Top TV shows and there is something rather interesting about the top shows. Eight out of the top 10 are in high-def; well nine, if you count Rescue Me as it is filmed in high-def. (The odd ball out is The Shield at number nine) So the obvious question is how important is it for a new show to broadcast in high-def? As you continue down through the list, a good amount of the top 25 shows are in HD, while in the worst shows list, not many of them are high definition.
Now, are these shows on top 'cause they are in high-def or rather, are they in high-def 'cause they are top shows? That's the question to chew on.
