Peter Rojas from Engadget gave us the scoop about the new iMac G5 unveiled at the Paris Apple Expo 2004.

iMac G5

Here’s the scoop: it comes in both 17-inch and 20-inch widescreen versions, and it’s an all-in-one with everything built-into the monitor. The 17-inch model comes with either a 1.6GHz or a 1.8GHz PowerPC G5 processor, and the 20-inch only comes with a 1.8GHz chip.

All come standard with 256MB of RAM (which is expandable up to 2GB), and the 17-inch model comes with an 80GB hard drive and a DVD/CD-RW combination drive, while the 20-inch model comes with a 160GB hard drive and a DVD-R/CD-RW SuperDrive. Click to see some more pics.
