A month after we tracked down some pics of Sagem's myX-8 smartphone, we're starting to hear more about the phone. So apparently it was recently released in Malaysia, where it's retailing for about $525 in a package that includes a 128MB miniSD card. The phone also comes with 40MB of built-in memory, a 1.3 megapixel camera, audio and video capabilities, Bluetooth and a 2.2-inch color LCD. The GSM phone is also available in parts of Europe, but has yet to be picked up by any U.S. service providers. No surprise there, since none of Sagem's previous phones had any U.S. distribution either. Too bad, too; looks like a pretty sweet phone.
