The BenQ Z2 musicphone

BenQ Z2

In case you hadn't noticed (and we don't actually expect you to, that's our job), musicphones are the new cameraphones. Or at least that's the latest buzzword we're going to be completely sick of in about seven days and that won't make any sense in six months when every cellphone has some sort of ability to play music (just like most can now snap pics). We've already mentioned musicphones from Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Pantech, Nokia, Samsung, HTC, and LG, and you can now add BenQ to that list. We won't really dwell too much on how they still haven't introduced their P50 Pocket PC Phone, but BenQ does have a new square-shaped tri-band GSM/GPRS musicphone of their own on the way. The Z2 only comes with 58MB of usable onboard memory, but it does have a miniSD memory card slot, a 1.5-inch, 128 x 128 pixel, 256,000 LCD screen, FM tuner, a built-in 1.3 megapixel digital camera, and the requisite MP3 player software.
