Motion Computing's LE1600 tablet looked like a pretty decent unit when we checked it out last month, but a lot of the demand for tablets (some would say the only demand) is in vertical markets where driveless thin-client units are preferred. So, it's no surprise that Motion's launched the LE1600TC, which has the same chassis and 12.1 inch display as the LE1600, but runs Windows XP Embedded, and replaces the original's 30GB HDD with a 512MB flash drive. The LE1600 starts at $1,899.
