Toshiba doin' it big with SED

My mom always told me that if I was going to do something, do it right. Apparently Toshiba has the same idea with SED 'cause the first production models start at 50-inches. Moreover, they will support 1080p right away. This is a sure sign that the technology behind SED is sound and they are ready for the mass market. Don't bring EDTV to the masses first, and then upgrade them to 720p, and then finally 1080p. No, Toshiba is doing it big with 50-inches and 1080p.

I was planning to get a Panasonic 37-inch plasma early next year, but maybe not...
