Those clever folks at Maxent were showing off some new high-def sets at the Digital Experience show last night and the one that caught our eye (or eyes in this case) was the new Maxent ServoTV. To call the ServoTV a TV wouldn't be fair because it's really two sets almost in a client-server type of model that enables place-shifting. The WXGA 42-inch HD Plasma contains one ATSC/QAM tuner, two NTSC tuners and 802.11a for streaming content to the 10.2-inch little LCD brother at 800 x 480. Option number two is streaming an NTSC signal or DVD to a PC on your network. $2,799 gets you both sets at some point in Q3.
