Money-Making Tips for PvP'ers

Mike D'Anna

For all of you out there on PvP servers trying to make ends meet, you already know how much more difficult it is to save up gold on a PvP server than a PvE one. The very nature of the beast makes money & experience more difficult to come by. Thankfully, there are a few ways to make good money in a PvP just have to be willing to take the risk.

On PvP servers, contested & enemy lands are dangerous territories, where people normally only venture in groups. But, these dangerous areas can also be the source of substantial wealth, if you are willing to go where other players fear to tread. No, I'm not talking about trying to solo Scholo; I mean exporting/importing: trade goods & crafting items that are only found in enemy & contested lands can reap big profits on the auction house.

If you are an Alliance fisherman, for example, you can make some nice gold by sneaking over to the Stagnant Oasis & fishing for Deviate Fish. It's a dangerous trip, as the Oasis is right outside the Horde town of Crossroads, but because Deviates are used in several recipes, and are easy to obtain there, you can command a nice price on the AH for your 'specially imported' fish.

I don't want to give away all my money-making secrets, but by using this same principle, you can make a good, solid income this way quite easily; I was able to save enough gold for my mount by the time I reached 35, simply from following this formula. If anyone else knows some good export items for either faction, send in your tips!
