New Flash Player Closes Security Vulnerability
Adobe/Macromedia has released a new version (8.0.24.0) of their Flash Player for Mac OS X and Windows that closes a security vulnerability found in earlier versions. It is available from the Player Download Center.
You can find out what version of Flash player you have installed by visiting this Flash page. This is also useful for checking to make sure the most recent version installed successfully.
Adobe/Macromedia also updated the Breeze collaboration plug-in to version 5.1 and their Shockwave Player to version 10.1.1.016.
Important Note: This update is for only PPC Macs and seems to break the preview-version of Flash Player that ships with the Intel Macs. So, if you have an Intel Mac, do not install this!]
