PSPKick v.3 out now

Mixing music is an art. It’s also a hobby that could cost you an arm and a leg. Thank the Powers That Be then that people like Noah Vawter and Nathan Wray come up with freebie goodies like PSPKick, the music mixing homebrew app now in its third iteration. This new release features a host of improvements, a few of which include the ability to create melodies out of music samples and to tweak the pitch and volume of individual notes.

Now that the PSP can function like a regular instrument, I can just imagine a world where everyone creates new and fascinating tunes that’ll test the boundaries of musical convention. That is unless you’re tone deaf, in which case you should stay as far away from this app as possible.

[Thanks, clay]
