Rare Zelda auction: bastard CD-i art & games, for charity

you know you want it

While Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon have been cast out of the Legend of Zelda canon -- along with pseudo-sequel Zelda's Adventure -- these CD-i relics have a place, be it a dark corner, in any true fan's collection.

Devin of The Black Moon Project (Philips CD-i enthusiasts) has created a one of a kind eBay auction, focusing on the original art that inspired these suspect titles -- and all in the name of charity (BBC Children in Need). The auction, expiring on Sunday, includes signed artwork (and a letter from artist Rob Dunlavey), a half-dozen CD-i games, and a signed copy of the RetroGamer issue that features the misbegotten Zelda titles.
