PC World has a change of heart on the PS3

Award

It's a big day for the PS3 and the major computing magazines. First, a near-perfect review from PC Magazine and now another major prize from PC World.

Fearing the wrath of PS3fanboy.com and the mighty Nick Doerr, PC World has pulled a bit of a reverse from their earlier position on the PS3. In fact, they've named it to their prestigious "20 Most Innovative Products of the Year" list...

"A multicore cell processor. Blu-ray. Wi-Fi. A custom-designed nVidia graphics chip. A motion-sensing, wireless controller. We've seen many of these technologies before, but Sony gets major points for managing to pack all of them into one machine."

To be fair, the Wii also made the list. Congrats to both! The recognition is a nice way for the consoles to wrap up the year.
