Wii creates new party trend
There's an interesting article up over at Reuters which discusses how the Wii has become the guest of honor in the new genre of parties cropping up across the country. Now, we can't argue that, as every time we get together with friends, the Wii becomes the focal point (however, we wouldn't call it a party so much as turning Wii Sports: Bowling into a drinking game). One Kris Smith calls it "the equivalent of a man Tupperware party."
The article goes on to discuss a homemade tournament held by Smith, as well as the sheer amount of these kind of parties that have been cropping up across the country. Have you held a Wii tournament? Do you often engage in this kind of Wii party?
