HD DVD and Blu-ray releases on February 21st, 2007

The Blu-ray train is slowing down this week, but unless you really love catalog titles you aren't missing much. There are some big movies this week including Babel on both formats which are virtually the same with the exception of the better sound on HD DVD, why Paramount continues to disappoint in the audio CODEC department on Blu-ray is still a mystery. Sony BMG releases their first musical title on Blu-ray this week, but we're not sure why but we are going to count it in our totals -- Sony is also releasing the one and only catalog title this week Vertical Limit. Buena Vista has a top tier movie for Blu-ray; The Prestige, which should make at least some HD DVD fanboys question their decision.
