Atari to cut workforce by 20%

Atari recently announced it will be restructuring its workforce and reducing the employee count by 20%, including administrative positions. The reductions will be completed by the end of July in an attempt to bolster a "more flexible business model" with lower overhead. In other words, time to make the shareholders happy.

Lately all Atari has been known for is milking the Dragon Ball Z franchises to death. At last count, there are more DBZ video games than holes in Jack Thompson's logic. Despite its struggles, Atari is still one of the largest video game publishers in the United States.
