Limited Edition for Assassin's Creed confirmed for PS3 and 360

Ubisoft insisted on calling the special package for Assassin's Creed a "Limited Edition" because it actually will be limited -- not a lot of people will get their hands on this superbly packed extra-content toting edition of the upcoming stealth/action title. This special package will be available for both the PS3 and 360 versions of the game. We're sure you're wondering what's in it, right?

Much like the just-announced GTAIV special edition, this edition comes with a wide variety of goods. What's noted by IGN are: "a specialized tin packaging ... a figurine of lead character Altair, Penny Arcade comics, a miniature strategy guide, and Assassin-themed short films. Behind-the-scenes videos, official trailers, developer diaries, producer interviews and other unnamed goodies." Sounds like a lot of stuff! So, can we expect another $90 price tag? Not at all, actually. Ubisoft is willing to give this all to their loyal customers for the price of $70. Just a ten dollar hike. Completely worth it, right?
